+ FANTASTIC MACHINE FOR ALL ROUND USE, PLAYING, RECORDING, EDITING,COPYING.

- PICKS UP VHS INDEX SIGNALS WHEN COPYING VHS TAPES CONTAINING EDITED CAMCORDER FOOTAGE, A REAL PROBLEM.

+ A marvellous machine for recording and playing VHS video cassettes and DVD discs. The Extended Play recordings are also high in quality. My expectations of this machine were exceeded!

+ very clear front panel layout
very fast startup times on the hard drive
very good picture and sound quality

- the fact that it only records one programme at a time, unlike the DMR EH80V which can record on two. i.e. VHS and the HDD or DVD

+ I can't think of anything about it that is really negative. Though some may think it a bit on the expensive side, it is still value for money when all it's functions are taken into account. The ease of copying from VHS to DVD is superb, with an improvement in picture and sound quality as well. It also has Freeview and a very large hard drive which, in our house, certainly comes in useful even though we have Sky+.

+ Easy to use once your used to it

- Hand book very complicated and confusing. Doesn't explain all more complex operations well e.g. recording in NTSC

+ High quality recording to hard disk + capacity of hard disc. VHS to DVD / hard disc recording.

- You do not appear to be able view other digital channels while recording a digital channel via Freeview set top box or use a second Freeview box to overcome this via the AV2 connection - or I haven't found a way of doing it!
Loss of sound when using the TV guide button on remote.

+ Easy to use. Has HDD, DVD, VCR and Freeview all in one box. Neater and fewer cables than lots of boxes.

- Image quality not quite as good as my cheap Freeview box

+ Very easy to programme recordings via EPG. Big hard drive reduces the need for discs

- Only one freeview tuner so when recording can only watch the programme that is being recorded

+ The machine we have been waiting for to be able us to save all our family VHS home video's on to DVD

- The television tuner isn't as versitile as the on we already have. (Digifusion)

+ its a good all rounder.Does everything and is easy to use

+ Easy to transfer VHS material to DVD. Also quick and easy to record any freeview programs onto hard drive to watch later.

- Difficult to record from external source eg Sky box

+ Easy to install & use up to now. Have not used all its features.

+ The beauty of having all the existing recording options (Hard drive, DVD recorder and VHS recorder) on one machine giving you the option of being able to copy between them all.

- The manual is quite complicated and topics are not covered in one section but scattered in other chapters which can lead to confusion.

+ All in one fantastic unit that delivers everthing it says.
