Score 8.0/10
Good points:
An excellent camera for the money - sturdy and easy to handle, with a large viewing screen. Plenty of features to play with, and very good image quality. Particularly liked the colour adjustment option, which meant we could take away some of the yellow tinge you get with indoor pictures. Interfaced easily with PC so pictures were simple to download.
Bad points:
When you switch it on the lens cap pings off so make sure you have it secured! No viewfinder means that on very bright days it can be difficult to see the screen. Features are a little fiddly to find and work as there are so many settings, but once you get used to them (and identify the ones you want to use most) they're worth it.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Love the look and feel of this camera - feels like a manageable sized SLR.
I feel photography is as much about the relationship you have with your camera ie. the ergonomics, and feeling comfortable with it, as it is about what you're shooting. This camera feels great in my hand - a good weight, robust, not too heavy and something of substance.
Good design, with a nice mix of chrome and black rubber like body.
Bad points:
I wish cameras would still come with a full printed manual/guide, so that I could pick it up for a few minutes read at a time, without having to be near my computer.
Also, having to purchase a separate case is a bit of a pain. I'd rather it came with it.
