+ I have been using Symantec products for many years - in fact as far back as when it was just Peter Norton.
I have always had the utmost confidence in their products for the reasons detailed above, however the best point of all is that you know you can feel much safer online with this software installed.

+ Uses a lot less PC rescources, does not slow PC down like older versions did, updates done efficiently without intrusion, full system scan seems a lot faster. All in all the best Norton ever.

+ Good general protection and at the price good value for 3 PC coverage.

- I also run a free version of spyware doctor which has caught malware missed by Norton.

+ Good overall pc protection from Symantec. I have been useing this product for many years with no troubles at all. The shields-up website which checks to see how well your pc is protected from hack has allways passed NIS with flying colours, unlike some other Internet security softwares that I have tested.

+ I already have Norton installed on my computer. This was purely an upgrade to the latest version. As I have already found previous versions performance to be satisfactory, clearly choosing another might have been a lottery and more hassle than it was worth.

- The bad points on this product are that at the end of the subscription period you are constantly bombarded with reminders of that fact. Clearly it is wise to have antivirus protection, but it is up to the individual to make a choice and not have one thrust in your face every time you open up your computer. After a period without cover my computer slowed up perceptively. Strange how the speed returned after installing the upgrade. hmm..

+ Easy to install and doesn't seem to affect performance. 3PC licence a good idea but we have 4 PCs so we have 3 Symantec and one Kempinski.

- I occasionally run Adaware to see if there is spyware etc. Adaware picks up quite a few bugs that Norton has said don't exist. No 4 PC licence

+ Very fast install (once older version has been removed) very easy and up and running quickly.

- Reboot during installation can be annoying, also slow to remove older version of Norton.

+ In personal opinion, this product is easier, faster, more efficient and reliable than McAfee, or any other internet protection programme.

+ Best program on the market, does not slow your computer like previous editions. Covers all your internet needs. You don't need anything else for protection.
