+ Full of great features. great camera quality, great memory for music, videos. Battery life works fine for me. Sat nav/nokia maps comes in usefull. all round fantazmic phone!

- Have to be mindfull of battery life, but by being smart you can increase its life. Sometimes slow/rashes for a short period when performing big tasks....but.... its only a wee lil device really and the amount of power its kicking out, its understandable....maybe im just patient? Heavy users may find the battery life and processing an issue

+ Looks good. Menu so easy to use and find things you want.
Battery better than N95. video and camera quality is good.

- If you're new to Nokia maps this means nothing but maps navigation has changed and now

+ - Good audio and video features
- Plenty of functions/applications that are easy to use... e.g. office and pdf
- aesthetically... looks good, stylish and compact with useful slide out keyboards
- Actual menu is fairly well organised and easily navigated
- Good sound quality and arrangement of keys
- Lots of initial memory

- - Screen smudges too easily
- Would be nice if a protective screen was provided as standard
- Battery life appears to diminish too quickly
- Standby menu is a bit annoyng... would be nice to simply press down on nav key to enter contacts (as you do with nearly every other phone)

+ Great phone, has a lot of functions and new applications also very sleek.

- Due to the phone having so much stuff in it, the phone responds very slowly when your trying to do something eg. if your trying to access messages may take 2-3 seconds before it actually does anything.

+ only camera and storage is gud

+ The multimedia applications are really good. I like the way I can connect direct to the TV and use it as an
organiser. create your own ringtones using the crop tool.

- camara shutter speed, not very good at catching moving pictures. battery life is terrible. my battery only last 2 days and thats if I don't use it that much and switch it off on the night time.

- not as quick as the n95 but that only bad thing

+ It looks good, syncs well with a PC using the Nokia software, battery life appears to be OK although I haven't used it heavily for making calls.

- Navigating the menus is quite slow, although the recent software update has helped a bit with this. I find it difficult to find things on the menus. The HD TV didn't work although again the latest software update is supposed to fix this. BBC iplayer only seems to work with a wi-fi connection.

+ Excellent array of features,great to look at, I have two teenagers in the house both with other so called top of the range phones , and we all agree the n96 blows them out of the water.

- Battery life is poor, but charging every two days is no real hassle. The internet is a bit slow unless connected via wifi etc. White backlight around nav keys looks a bit cheap.

+ A feature packed phone - very much a jack of all trades. Good screen, GPS, lots of available software, excellent media functionality.

- Disappointing build quality, occasional sluggishness, lack of processing power / 3D chip when compared to the older N95 effects performance in both N-Gage games and third party applications.

+ Have always used Nokia so although much more advanced features its easy to navigate around and use.

- Apparently freezes every now and again needing the battery to be removed to kick start it again, also can be slow in activating some features.
Also the 1, 2, 3 keys are very tight to the bottom of the top part of phone, but do get used to it.

- very good phone altuough it keeps freezing and goes off whenever it wants just like the n95 before it

+ It is a nice size, and looks stylish. It has a very good range of software, and is easy to use and navigate through. The camera is goo and it is easy to use its features. The blue tooth on the phone is very good, so songs and things are sent very fast.

- It freezes a bit and the two way slide can be annoying.

+ Sheer volume of features its like having a computer in your pocket, excelent email, WIFI this list could go on and on.

- The navigation key can take some time to get used to.

+ The camera and video is great. The wide screen and the changeability of the screen position is quite handy. Viewing web pages is also great

- The main weakness of this phone is the battery life, especially if you wish to play games on the phone or watch a video. The features are not as sophisticated as you would expect from a phone of this calibre. text messaging is still old fashioned. When the screen changes to an horizontal position, the key pad becomes awkward to use.

+ very good features all i like in my new phone. i am happy with my nokia n96.

- none whats so ever the only small thing sometime would be bad reception sometimes and would cut out when u are on a call.

+ this is a excellent phone, the camera quailty is excellent compared to the samsung phones. the gps is excellent and the wonderful extras

+ The phone can't be targeted for not having enough of anything, it's full to the brim with applications. Very nice looking phone, very sleek. Once the phone has warmed up it works a treat, the size of the memory is amazing which can be filled with photos,videos and games if you fancy it.

- Having a nice looking phone that does everything you want it to sounds perfect, but when it comes to using the phone it struggles to keep up with itself. In the first week things ran very slow, even trying to create a text (something you expect your phone to do perfectly) but it seems the phone starts to grow into its own skin the more you use it. I don't mind the camera taking a few moments to load up but when replying to a text can take 20 seconds just to get the screen up something must be wrong. I know a firmware update was released within the first few days of the phone hitting the market which isn't a very good sign.

- The slowest phone i have ever used.

+ I cannot decide on a single good point. Is a piece of jewelery is capable to do almost anything.

- Is not quite a bad point, is rather a compromise at what the phone can do and some how it is normal the battery life to be short considering the tasks which can do.

+ A smartphone, great camera, high shutter speed compare to the N95, faster than the N95 and a better battery life.

- Slow OS speed, dreadful sound quality

+ camera is great, amazing in comparison with old phone (Nokia N73), large memory and easy to use

- battery only lasts about 4 days tops, even less if you surf the net or listen to music. very bulky but i like it like this, only a problem when trying to put it in your pocket

+ The memory on this product is amazing. 16GB is a huge amount. i've downloaded alot so far and ther's still alot of memory left.

- the only negative points are that the battery life doesn't last long and navigation through the programme can take a while.

+ It's basically a portable multimedia device, so on journeys and such it's extremely useful to have. You can watch tv programmes, listen to music, play games - it keeps you entertained.

- The battery life isn't great, though I've seen worse, lasting only about 2 days when the phone has been used. Also, there are a couple of glitches with the software, but nothing major.

- My main criticism is that it can often take a long time to load programs. For example, the contacts can take time to load, this should be instant.

+ Excellent features. Fantastic memory. Great quality camera with a good selection of 'tweakable' settings. Easy web browsing. Accurate and detailed GPS system for walking or driving. Excellent feature of having a '3 phono' plug connection so you can record tv with the inbuilt phone feature and huge memory, or use the BBC iplayer, and play it all on your tv or an in car entertainment screen. It's been dropped a couple of times and has not been affected at all. Brilliant!

- Sound through in built speakers isn't great (although it's perfect through headphones). Battery life if used as a phone and nothing else is good, but, start using the features a lot then you'll need to recharge it almost every night. But that's me being 'picky'. It's a great phone.

- Email was very buggy - wouldn't download the entire email even though it was set to. Keypad was quite difficult to use - sometimes wouldn't register a press, othertimes it would register one press as several keystrokes. Menu system was buggy often skipping to the next item incorrectly.

- the battery only last upto 2 days if i'm lucky & that's without using it online or listening to music or watching videos, if i do any of those things the battery only lasts a couple of hours before requiring a charge
