+ great little phone, easy to use

- The buttons aren't easy to press - especially when trying to text quickly. Deleting a read message takes a lot of steps where on my old Nokia it was a couple of buttons.

+ It does the bare minimum without too much trouble. You can call people. You can receive calls. You can text and receive texts. If you want a phone for just those things, it is a perfectly decent phone. It's a Nokia and so I must say that I've always found them to be solid and sturdy little devices and this one is no exception unlike many other flimsy handsets I've had.

- Glitches in the software (in text messages and email it often wont recognise words at the end of the line causing me to have to spell even simple words like "go" instead of being able to cycle through my predictive options. Customising the phone is a nightmare (I STILL can't find a way to display a clock on the background even though I've read the booklet many times). Extra functions like the alarm clock are severely limited. You can only set one at a time and have no option to describe the alarm (something which I frequently needed to do as I set several per day). I've given the phone to several friends to try and figure out where certain functions and options were and they frequently couldn't find them at all, and occasionally managed to (often by accident) as there seems to be limited logic to the menu and settings layout.

+ Every thing is good, simple and easy to use.

- Battery life could be longer and I noticed that you can't increase the volume of music when the mobile is locked.

- Navigation block not good for thick thumbs. Nails needed - tough if you don't have any so I guess it's a ladies phone.

+ The internet is terrible.No way of personalising your phone and no wi fi connection. Cant say 'best for internet' without 3g and wi fi connection

- I find it confusing where some of the photo's i took have been stored, also the memory could be bigger.

+ Very slim light and attractive phone. Good sound quality. Good battery life. Dont use the camera very much but it is good quality for a phone.

- I find that the keyboard is somewhat small and this means I can end up pushing the wrong keys which can be quite frustrating.

- Screen gets scratched easily, had to buy a plastic case to cover hich when scratched is difficult to see the screen, battery life lasts max 4 days. Finding it difficult to get a good incar kit for it.

- The screen is very difficult to see in sunlight, the clock is extremely difficult to see most of the time and the screen gets scratched easily.

+ Nice to handle, has never let me down, not too small to use, ideal for me. As a small user I'm perhaps
not the best person to quote.
However, you have now prompted me to get the instructions out again and have a go.

- Not found any yet. I have had a number of phones previously, this is certainly the best.

+ I've had a series of Nokia's and this is my favourite by far. Easily navigable, a calendar where you can go to a date and there's a bar at the bottom with the info, instead of having to open it. Web browser is very good, the camera takes some pretty good pictures (much better quality than my last phone), and I especially like the fact that there's a USB port so you can upload direct to your computer without having to email them from your phone. I was also especially pleased to find it has Sudoku on it! (Although my Dad has the same phone and his didn't, but I was able to Bluetooth it over to him.) Would definitely recommend this phone.

- Only one thing - it's a bit of a blessing and a curse!! When you receive a text, there's a tiny blue light at the side which flashes every few seconds to let you know. Now this is fine during the day, and helps to find your phone, especially in a cavernous handbag...... but I do also use my phone as an alarm clock, so if someone decides to text you in the middle of the night, there is this little blue light that won't stop until you've read the text! It might be that there's a way to disable this, but I haven't got round to finding out yet.

+ customisable hot keys are good as is the customisation of things generally. A good little phone

+ The Nokia 6800 is a great phone if you're looking for a reasonably priced PAYG handset with more than average features and a stylish look. The font used for interfaces and text messages is nice and easy to read. The predictive text out of the box is extremely easy to use and adding words is a doddle. I am also impressed with the PC Nokia software suite that is provided with the phone. It is quick and simple to back up contacts, compose text messages and a whole bunch of other features.

- The interface would be nice and easy to navigate through, if it wasn't for the slightly hard to press navigational button in the middle (which according to the phone's manual "...is not designed for prolonged contact with the skin" and "...may lead to a nickel allergy."!) This phone isn't a smartphone and therefore its sole purpose isn't for receiving e-mails and going on the Internet, which is slow and cumbersome.

- If you're not already familiar with the phone it is a bit tricky to navigate and find things such as switching on bluetooth. Night mode on the camera is no good unles your taking a pic of a perfectly still object. Everything else is blurred.

+ This is a 'phone that doesn't require a slide action or flip action. That means no lock or hinge to wear out. It is small and robust and does what I expect of it. I wanted a mobile 'phone and got a lot more. No problems with connection even in forest ares. All the other 'extras' are functional and probably useful. I just want a good 'phone that will last three years or more. Ideal for myself as a manual worker who keeps his 'phone in his pocket all day. Bluetooth connection doesn't cost anything so you can exchange ringtones and images etc. with friends, family and colleagues.

- Sound quality is not good unless you use better quality headset. Included ringtones are not at all pleasant but you can easily transfer your own. It won't replace a digital camera or an mp3 player but it is an excellent 'phone.

+ slim, very sleek and looks very good with ease to navigate and handle. the bottoms are very easy to use whatever the fingers size are. overall very nice one and I really like it and recommend it for every one.

- nothing else except the battery life which is still not bad if you'll be charging it every day or two on average depending on useage, but I believe there are other compatible batteries that have a longer life compared to the standard one.

+ Small and light. Less burdened down with gimics or uneeded features than most phones if you want a mobile phone which is just that, a phone that's mobile!

- Keys too small, close together and recessed making dialing difficult for anyone without tiny fingers. Screen is fragile and easily scuffed scratched. Volume poor and sound quality poor. Short battery life.

- Voice activated dialling is essential to me whilst driving. On this phone it is impossible to connect to the desired recipient. Individual voice tags are not an option & a random list of likely names is offered & the first dialled within seconds - 100% incorrectly
I returned the phone as unsuitable for my needs.

- when trying to talk in a public place, the sound quality and volume (even when volume is at its highest) are not very good and hence it is difficult to hear the other person speak

- The volume is too low to hear people talking properly even when on highest volume levels.

+ The Nokia 6300 is a lovely, slim shape and the screen is a nice size, too. The camera is very easy to use and picture quality is good.

- The keyboard is a little difficult to use, as the buttons do feel rather close together, but this could be because I have been accustomed to using my old phone, and it takes a little while to get used to a new one!

+ i like everything about my new phone, probably because I dont look like a sad OAP with a out of date mobile phone

- I haven't found any bad points about the phone as I have only just had it.

+ Overall, it is a nice phone. I like that I can put my music on to it, it has great features.

- The only bad point is the user ( me ) I am still trying to figure out how to do things on it. I am not a technical wiz, and find it a wee bit difficult understanding some of the things. ( I have to keep asking the young people I work with).

- it doesnt display the message time and date straight after the message.you have to go to options and message details just to veiw the time and date, which can sometimes be very annoying.
