+ Small, very easy to use and looks good.

- Styling is a little odd, would have liked all the buttons in one section and the screen in a separate section - the phone looks like it has a small keypad and the rest is a huge screen (slightly odd). Battery life could do with being longer.

+ The phone looks very good and has a nice weight to it.It has the typical nokia layout which is easy and straight foward to use. The screen is also not to bad .

- There is no infrared on the phone which I have needed on a couple of occasions ,the battery life sucks WHEN ARE THE PHONE COMPANIES REALISE WE WANT MORE BATTERY LIFE !!!!!!!!!.The ring tones are not very loud I work in a noisy environment and it is not that easy to hear the phone or feel the vibrations when it rings. The record facility is is not loud enough if you want to make your own ring tone it is useless.

+ Really small and slim, easy to use, great phone. MP3 player is pretty good, as is the sound quality. Looks great and doesn't scratch easily.

- Onboard storage is pretty small, make sure you buy a 2GB MicroSD card to store photos and music on. It comes with a 128MB MicroSD card containing the games and a few other things. Loading times are moderate.

- The sound quality on phone calls is a bit low and hard for people to hear you on the other end but the VOICE CLARITY funtion helps with that.

- vibrate alert very weak. signal reception not as good as it could be. too much attention paid to extra services and not enough to basic telephony

+ I love the metal construction, it looks very high quality, like the Nokias of old. the best part of the 6300 is the screen, it is very large with a good resolution and combined with the built in 2MP camera you can have nice photos of your kids as wall paper.

- The buttons are a little too small for me (a man), not un-usable but a bit fiddly sometimes, also the speaker volume is not loud enough.

+ It was bought as a phone not a music player or games machine and as a phone it is excellent. It actually looks quite smart as well.

+ Speed. Nokia phones are normally quick, but this one is probably the quickest I've used. Plus, ease of configuration (moving icons around, changing layout etc) are useful to customise it to preferred layout.

+ Camera/video is good, it looks good and is a neat phone. I like the organiser/todo list/alarm. I'm afraid I don't use all the features to their full extents, but am very happy with the ones I do use.

- I have to charge it up much more often than my previous phone. I don't use it all the time so I'm surprised at how often it needs recharging.

- I threw mine in the bin and went back to my Nokia 1300 which can block callers. A simple feature and very useful on such a cheap phone - why it is not possible on the 6300 is beyond me.

- Vibration not strong enough, never aware of calls coming in because vibrate facility weak

+ Nokia 6300 is the one of the best mobile from Nokia, smaller easy carrie, very friendly software and 2MP camera,i love this phone.

- A small bad point is the keypad, not comfortable for fast typing.

+ The phone is compact, stylish and easy to use. It has all the features you could wish for and is excellent as a camera.

- Re-calling someone you've just spoken too. My old phone you just had to go to one key and it would show straight away contacts dialled.

+ It looks good and feels good. It is small and slim but with a big screen. The navigation is intuitive as usual with Nokia.

+ All the features are excellent and very easy to understand. This is my 4th Nokia mobile and I would never consider aanother manufacturer. I only replace them when they get damaged - or in one instance, fell in the canal!
