Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide Phone 3G mobile phone handset reviews and tariffs

+ The phone is very slim so handy to slide into pockets/bag pockets. It is stylish and the sliding is very smooth. This phone with a 1GB memory card holds quite a lot music - i so far have 8 hours of music on and it still isn't full - as well as video's and photo's. The camera is really good, especially as there is a second camera so if you are taking a picture yourself of you and a friend you can see that it is on you etc. and the flash is very useful. getting around the phone took some getting used to but I think that is the same with any new phone unless it is one you have had before. The battery is not that bad, it does need charging every other day. I have found that if I go mad with the texts one day it does need charging again regardless to the fact i may have charged it the night before - but that isn't a problem as i put it on charge at night at the side of my bed. The games on it are brilliant, it even has a brain training one which you do activities on every day or less if you like to keep your brain active. I haven't actually used the navigation bit on this phone yet as it hasn't been needed. Overall this is a very good phone!

- Apart from the fact that the battery does go low if you continually use it all day and you have to properly exit all applications when finished, I haven't got any bad points.

+ i love the fact it has a satnav biult in, and i can listen to my music and look through the menus while im on the phone. plus it looks cool, and the light round the menu button flashes when u have missed a call or got a message, you u can see from the other side of the room, if u have missed anything.

- its a shame the satnav licence only lasts 180 days. the 1st time i tried taking the battery cover off it took me a while, and when u take out the memory card u have to reset ringtones and pics etc. the one main thing though is th quality of the photos, most of the time they come out blurred, even when there is only a slight movement.

- The screen does not slide up fair enough makes it difficult to use the top 3 buttons

- REALLY POOR BATTERY LIFE!

+ Fab phone with lots of features.
Easy to synchronise with Outlook on computer so all appointments loaded with no effort whatsoever.
Compact and cute as well which makes it very desirable.

- Keypad is a little difficult to operate as it is small, even for my small hands.
The GPS navigator seems to be really good but I am finding difficulty trying to change the orientation - I am a geographer and like my map to be orientated in the direction I am going. Perhaps if I read the brochure instead of fiddling around with it, it might help!!

+ overall i find this phone very good it is easy to use not to big and like the big screen it makes it much easier to
read the text.

- i can't really say it has any bad points the only slight problem i have with the phone is that the battery doesn't
hold its charge as long as i would like it to but thats the only down side.

+ The phone is excellent. It's full of features and is quite easy to get used to. Syncronising the device with my PC is really easy and is without fuss. I love the Music Player especially. The interface is easy to use and you can associate album art with each song. The sound is really good but is better through the headphones.

- The only bad point I have noticed is the battery life. It needs recharging every two days which can be a little annoying but is not too much of a problem.

- Documentation does not make it clear which navigation features will require re-licensing. Set up of Walk and Talk not clear and had to be found by experiment.

+ I love the sat nav abd the fact i can use it when walking or driving

- there is only one thing i have found i dont really like about this phone and its that the music volumeisnt very loud... but hey i can live with that wos ov all the other good things on the phone...

- Slide doesn't go all the way over top 3 buttons. Makes it a bit awkward.

+ Clear volume on calls, easy to manipulate the menu to the way you need to use it.

- Keys a little close to top of slider when trying to text, but you do get used to it eventually!

+ its easy to use & small enough to put in your pocket. Im so glad i chose it

- Plastic feel to the keyboard (not as good as the N95 I have!)
