Steve, Urmston , “ I Love the phone”
Score 9.0/10+ This phone has good points all round, except for one issue?
- The one issue is, pressing the centre button to access the menu? When trying to do this you end up pressing the left and right nav. keys. This centre button is not friendly to different sizes of thumbs!

Score 10.0/10+ being of the older generation, and not that technically minded, I found it quite easy to use. Overall a good looking product
- for me and this is probably true of all mobiles the light goes off on the keyboard too quickly, but that may be an age thing, mine not the phone

Score 8.0/10+ i love the design of the handset, especially the shape! the sound quality is really good and i love that i can use a memory card up to the size of 2GB. my chosen mobile phone tariff has some great features.
- the "Nokia PC Suite" software for use on a computer does not work well so i have not been able to back up my contacts and calendar to my computer. i have managed to put music on the phone by treating it like a removable hard drive.

Anonymous verified purchaser , “purchase need not want”
Score 9.0/10+ has everything you need eg phone, camera, music player and radio and its all good and efficient and very easy to operate.Unfortunately if using functions constantly the battery seems insufficient. however its style and multi-functions and my own purchasing price way over rides the battery shortcoming

It looks amazing and it's excellent value for money! The camera is of high quality and so is the music player, plus the games are pretty good.
Its easy to use and the keys aren't too small so texting fast isn't a problem. I've had it for too weeks and compared to my old Motorola it's brilliant, i couldn't be happier with my choice and I would recommend it too anyone who wants a good quality phone, don't expect too much from it though, you have to remember it isn't the latest blackberry!
- It's battery life isn't perfect it lasts about 3-4 days on standby but using media and playing on games drains it quite quickly. It also doesn't have vibrate only which is a tad annoying but apart from that it's perfect!!

Pocket Lint expert review
Nokia's XpressMusic phones take aim right at Sony Ericsson's Walkman handsets, giving an offering that puts music at the core of the phone and gives you nifty features like dedicated controls, which we find here, without having to dive into menus. The Nokia 5220 XpressMusic handset follows the trend of what seems to be a growing segment for Nokia, offering a lightweight and compact music phone that doesn’t get too carried away in offering a host of features you might never use...

TechRadar expert review
Compared with Sony Ericsson's rapid-fire succession of Walkman phones, Nokia's XpressMusic roll-out has been distinctly low-key, with just a handful of models sporting Nokia's music-majoring label. Now, with the launch of Nokia's Comes With Music unlimited music download service, and its soon-to-arrive 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen smartphone, the spotlight is starting to shine on Nokia's mobile music line-up.But as well as the top-of-the bill devices and services, Nokia is continuing to plug away at the lower end, with the 5220 XpressMusic one of Nokia's latest low-cost newcomers. Budge…
