This is a fantastic consolle, as full time working parents we do not have much time to get out to the gym etc and by the time we've spent getting to and frow from the gym we have already had a work out on the wii fit. Benefits for the children unlike most consolle's they just sit there and use their fingers (where's the exercise in that?) this one is very active one of the reasons we chose this product. Money very well spent

Excellent family game. We had members as young as 4 using the Wii and competing with those of us in our fourties. Younger members were far more energetic and sucessful with the boxing game. Even the 7 and 9 year olds were leading on the ten pin bowling. And we all felt we had used muscles we wouldn't often use, particularly when we were caught in doors because of the weather.

The Wii is a really really fun games machine. And the fit is a great addition, although not 100% sold it will make me fit, has to be better than sitting on the sofa playing though. Our four and a half year old loves it to, she can play the tennis, boxing, and ten pin bowling well, and do most of the fitness exercises (some better than us!). I also have a PS3 and that is near useless for small children.
-
The graphics are no where near the quality of other consoles out there. For lots of games that does not matter because they are fun and big round chunky characters are OK, but it would be nice if it was a bit better.
The PS3 and XBox are full multimedia machines - you can stream HD video to them etc, the Wii does not do this.

Overall it's great, the only problem i have is after a while your wrists can start to hurt from holding the controller.
