- some times the games can be quite expensive.

- the flip lid, already had one snap if caught, bad points nothing with the Ds jsut with the games most are either for older people, and mostly games could do with more learning additions,, and bad points is the price of games, But have to say we are a family of 4, 1 adult and 3 kids and all own one

+ THE DS LITE IS AN EXCELLANT PRODUCT TAKE ANYWHERE EVEN PLUG INTO CAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER TO CHARGE & PLAY AT THE SAME TIME MY FAMILY ARE ALWAYS GOT THEIR'S GLUED TO THEIR HANDS EVEN I PLAY ON IT VERY ADDICTIVE.

- In the range of games available, a lot seem to be along the same format ie:caring for something (babies,cats,dogs.horses,sick animals) or cooking something.Perhaps this will extend over time

+ This console has given my child hours of fun, it is very versatile and suits all ages. I bought this for my son, my daughter already has one and she and my son race each other on their individual ds's. Don't ask me how, this is a very clever machine. Would definately recommend.

- certain games (Brain Training) can be frustrating when the DS does not understand your pronunciations. Similarly the stylus does not always copy faithfully the image or text you wrote. _ However I found it does seem to adapt to your writing after a while.

+ I purchased this product to help keep my brain active, being 68 years of age, My five year old grandson has had one for over a year and thinks it's great. I'm just a mere beginner, but find if easy to operate.

- if you want wifi access it can only cope with WEP security. As many routers are WAP capable you either have to downgrade your security (not recommended) or use the USB Wifi connector on your pc as long as it doesn't run Vista. So don't buy the internet browser software unless you have unsecure or WEP wifi.

- The Dogs software can be abit difficult to understand if being used be younger children

- My daughter can not get beyond trying to train the dog its name. She calls its name endlessly but it keeps taking her back to the beginning and will not progress to the next stage. A huge disapointment for an expensive game.
