+ Small and compact futs into a handbag or pocket like aslim mobile. Very easy to use with high quality pictures n all locations especialy disco and party. No picture slip and face recognition gives you the picture you want in focus

- High price compared to other makes with same features however time will tell if cost in use is better

+ I absolutley love this camera. The shutter speed is fast, the picture quality is amazing, robust manufacturing, a great design and it has easy to use features such as automatic scene selector. I am very happy with my purchase as I have used Nikon in the past and the quality is great for the price you pay.

- The only thing I would of liked, was to be able to edit the pictures on the actual camera. You can only do this to a certain extent.
Apart from that - No complaints!

+ Its a great camera, comes on quickly and off. Takes good pictures. I have my own Coolpix L20 but I find S620 better than L20!! The L20, some pictures are blur when taking so I have to take two or three times to make sure I got good picture!
The S620 takes great pictures and only once!
Very good to go in my hand bag!!! Light!!

- I cant say anything about bad points about it yet! I only had it for three weeks and cant find a fault on it!

Manufacturer's Description

Swift and stylish 12 megapixel camera with fast 0.7 second power-up, NIKKOR wideangle 4x zoom lens, Scene Auto Selector, high ISO, 2.7-inch LCD monitor and advanced portrait and anti-blur technologies for sharp shots and great portraits.

* NIKKOR wideangle 4x zoom lens offers outstanding precision and sharp resolution. (35mm 135 film-format equivalent: 28 – 112mm.) * 4x anti-blur automatically counters blurred images in four different ways. Lens-shift VR (Vibration Reduction) reduces the effect of camera shake. High ISO (up to 6400) light sensitivity reduces the risk of blurred images with fast-moving subjects or in low-light. Motion detection compensates for camera and subject movement. Best Shot Selector (BSS) automatically selects the sharpest of up to 10 sequential shots. * Scene Auto Selector selects the optimum Scene mode for popular photographic situations. * Smart portrait system: advanced automatic features for perfect portraits. Smile Mode takes the shot when your chosen subject smiles. Blink Warning alerts you when someone had their eyes closed. Blink Proof shoots two pictures and saves the one where your subject’s eyes are open. * High ISO – up to 6400 even for full-size images: the ability to shoot full sized images at the high end of the ISO range means you can take pictures in low light situations without a flash – and make great enlargements with minimum loss of quality. * Large 2.7-inch LCD monitor with wide viewing angle, brightness boost function and an anti-reflection coating to enhance visibility in bright sunlight. * Quick Retouch lets you enhance images taken under poor conditions so they appear sharp and vibrant. The original image stays intact and the camera quickly creates a duplicate image with the best balance of contrast or saturation. * Subject Tracking AF will keep the camera focused on a selected subject, even if your chosen subject is moving about. * 12.0 megapixel resolution lets you capture outstandingly detailed images, crop creatively and produce stunningly sharp poster-size enlargements. * Advanced Face Priority AF with in-camera Red-eye Fix lets you quickly detect and focus accurately on up to 12 faces in the frame, and corrects false eye color due to flash the instant you take the shot. * 16 scene modes offer optimized settings for popular photographic styles, effects and locations. * D-lighting creates pleasing results by correcting strong shadows to rescue underexposed images, or shots taken with excessive backlight. * Fast response: all functions engineered for fast response and quick, 0.7-second power-up time. * Movie recording with sound.
