Tripod mount not up to the job of keeping lens and camera steady, even on a heavy duty tripod.
VR must be switched off when using on a tripod otherwise it induces it's own shake.

Sharp, VR is awesome, compact for its increadable focal range and contrast is superb.
One of Nikons gems!
- Slow focus and lock on is sometimes poor, doesnt focus very close, but understanding of this lenses weak points can lead to outstanding results.
