Good points:: Very smart looking oven. Really enhances the kitchen. Top oven as useful as bottom oven which is a change from my last oven.
Bad points:: Haven't found any so far, but have only had the oven for a few weeks...time will tell!!!!

Good points:: Smart clean appearance, performs well and does what it says in the manual.
Direct replacement for a 20 year old NEFF oven and was a direct fit without need for alteration to the kitchen unit.
Bad points:: Push knobs rectangular in shape and difficult to see pointer as to which way it is indicating.
Black symbols on matt stainless steel facia small and difficult to read-especially difficult for anyone with impaired sight.

Good points:: Looks good and has excellent cooking results.
Bad points:: We had a Neff series two oven for over twenty years and it never went wrong once. The fan on this new oven is noisier than the old one and vibrates and buzzes sometimes.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Convection (or fan) ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction (convection or conventional) ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
