Good points:: Sliding door, neff light, easy to use controls and timer, temperature. Easy to read controls and instructions. Fit perfectly where the old oven was.
Bad points:: A wee bit pricey but worth it!

Good points:: Love the foldaway door and the extending shelf supports
Bad points:: Would have liked the top shelf position to be a little lower so that I could use other (slightly deeper) grill pans sometimes, instead of having to use the one supplied all the time.

Good points:: Good easy to understand options Bottom shelf kalidescope very useful for basting without lifting out of oven
Bad points:: I was disgusted that I have to purchase a grill pan handle. After paying a lot of money for a oven I Expect it to be included in the price. It is very dangerous pulling the hot grill out by hand Having difficulty finding the correct handle. DONT quote health and safety regs as that's a lot of baloney.

Good points:: Beautiful design and ergonomic controls. The door sliding away confers more advantage than one might otherwise suspect in terms of access and visibility. It is a joy to use. The lighting is amazing and everything is highly visible.
Bad points:: One small gripe - the internal space is smaller than the oven it has replaced in the same cabinet housing. This hasn't caused a problem yet but perhaps christmas...?

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Convection (or fan) ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction (convection or conventional) ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
