- You have to connect the Satnav to the charging unit when displaying it in the car. It would be nice to be able to put it up in the car for a short journey without having the wire trailing to the cigarette lighter. Would be nice to be able to display more information when you have added a place as a favourite, eg along with place name, a telephone number and perhaps contact name.

- Size for your pocket but then that is good for viewing!?

+ Really it is the whole package I like but the qwerty keyboard input (which does not come as an option on our Garmin) is far more practical.

+ Easy to view screen with good clear touch screen icons for ease of use. Voice directions clear and easy to follow. Picks up satellite signal very quickly. Very peased with product.

+ Relatively accurate and reasonably quick at re-calibrating route

- Not that much a bad point but could be better at calibrating most direct route from starting location as you may know a different route to say a motorway junction but sat nav will direct you to the same junction but a longer route,

+ Easy to use, clear maps & quick to get back on track. You would be fortunate to find a better one for the same price.

- Some locations not on the map yet, but have been in use for some time. Same with the camera alerts. Navman website says it could take up to 18 months to update, so don`t rely on your warning bleeps too much.

- i've not worked out if the online voice actually cuts out when you recieve a call on your mobile in hands free mode as there seems to be an echo of the voice

+ I am more than happy with my Navman. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy to use it is and with the features included in it. It's really easy to sync with the computer and telephone and the NavConnect feature is really handy. I also purchased the T2 traffic attachment which I highly recommend. I use it every day on my commute to work and I find it invaluable to avoid the inevitable rush hour traffic jams. I've used a TomTom before but I can honestly say that I prefer the Navman for ease of use, features and reliability.

- If I was to pick holes in the Navman it would have to be with the hands free telephone function. It is really easy to use and once set up it automatically connects to your phone without hassle. The only problem with it, however, is that the microphone and speaker are not as good as they could be. You have to raise your voice to be heard and when driving on a motorway it can be quite hard to hear the other person due to the road noise. That said, however, this is only an add on feature to the Navman and so you wouldn't expect it to be perfect.

Blue tooth connection to my Nokia N95 was very easy and works a treat

- Battery life on each charge. The unit start to give "low battery" warning after only about 60 mts of use.
Colours are not deep enough.
There is no button in the "keyboard" for putting in a "space" character while putting in Post Codes - the unit works out for itself but can mislead into frustration, until the whole of the post code is put in, which is then correctly spaced by the unit. E.g. While putting in TW18 1BA, the unit responds by first showing TW1 1 when only TW1 is put in. This led to aborting the entry to again with the same frustrating result. But if after putting in TW1, one continues to put in the rest of the code, 81BA, the unit automatically corrects to TW18 1BA.
The unit already had the camera information loaded in and VALIDATED. This was not clear from the enclosed information, which seemed to suggest contacting Navman to obtain validation. I had to contact Navman via email to get this information.
