+ Robust, and small enough without being unusable.

- Predictive text is a huge weakness. E.g. a single press on the 'abc' key in any other phone I've used will put and 'a' up - this one gives either c or b, and it offers an apostrophe (surely an under used character in the world of text) as its first offering on the punctuation button. Can't find car accessories easily.

+ It has all the basic features you would need to keep in touch with other people. It would be perfect for a young child (that it for their first phone).

- Does not allow you to change text tone. Limited space and choice of ring tones.

- can't see who's calling till open phone to answer

+ what do I need from a mobile phone is to receive and make calls efficiently with good sound and reliable design, also this mobile has a nice looking , excellent built-in FM radio and huge memory to store contacts I like it very much

- the the only thing is the navigation button maybe because I have a big finger.

- Bad internet browsing, hard to obtain music etc. no bluetooth

+ It works well.

- Keypad is too small for large fingers. There is no camera or the facility to recieve picture messages.

+ It is a mobile phone that I believe has everything one needs to be to make a call or send a text, if I to take a photo I use a camera. I don't need anything to play games on, I can find better things to occupy myself, such as reading.

- As a phone I cannot thing of one.

+ Its no fuss, easy to use, incredible value. Does exactly what I want. I am over 35 and have no interest in mp3 or digital camera on a phone so this little gem is perfect, especially if you are still trying to suss out how to programme the VHS

- One annoying little thing is when pressing the right nav key you can easily hit the return key and end up at the default screen. Apart from that there are no bad points and even that is probably over come if you dont have big clumsy fingers like mine!

- 'The key pad design is very poor - the directional button is too small. And I still haven't had my free air time!

+ Simple to use, excellent for people who just need a phone for calls and texts. Battery life is pretty good, and the screen is protected when closed so you don't have to worry about breaking it.

- When you switch on the phone it takes a while before you can use the contacts list. Game is difficult to use, but if you have this phone you probably have a good phone as well anyway so nothing really to complain about.

+ For a nop nonsense straight forward easy to use mobile (especialy for a couple of old technophobes like us) my wife and I started to share this phone but there is now fearce competion as to who gets to operate it first. It has no frills and makes communication a joy.

- Difficult to comment as this is our very first mobile phone, we had managed wthout this far but our family are now very pleased that we have it. 'THE MOST FREQUENT AND ANNOYING INTERUPTION IN YOUR LIFE IS A TELEPHONE CALL' but I guess The Motorola W220 softens the experience.

lve the colour of mine - yep i know it's facile but it's styling is great.
ideal second phone for me.
