+ It may not be the latest technology but it has Tri and Quad-Band capability, has excellent Bluetooth transmission-quality to hands-free earpiece compared to my earlier phone, and battery life is good .......am not concerned about the 300K-pixel camera as I just want a phone!.......dont want power-sapping screen-savers or musical-jingles or email access......I just want a phone.

+ The screen and the clarity of letters and numbers are very good. The commands are easy to understand and you are led through the procedures.

- The only bad point is the indistinct letters for text messaging

+ The phone is agreat phone because it is very compact and it looks excellent. It also connect very well to other devices through bluetooth and the graphics are brill!

+ I like the shape the colour, mines pink, although I would have liked a purple one, my favourite colour! I like the ease of receiving photo messages and being able to e-mail.

- The key pad is a little difficult to see the letters especially if a light or the sun is shining on it, making texting a little more difficult for us oldies!

- the phone buzzes when it is open and the camera is really bad quality. when i recieve pictures from friends i can never open them because their quailty is far too high for the v3.

+ Easy to use once it is set up. Looks good and is compact. It was also a good price.

- Although I was pleased with the phone itself, I had a terrible amout of hassle setting it up to use in conjunction with my PC, as there was no cd suplied with it. There was no mini-usb cable supplied either. I regreted not purchasing it from a company who included these important parts.

+ The phone overall is not that bad apart from.....

- I'm very disappointed with the battery life. Although I'm in a weak signal area the battery just about lasts for 4 days without making any calls. I bought this as a replacement for a 3 year old Samsung that when new could last well over a week and could still manage 4 days between charges when it broke (I fell, broke a rib and my phone!!!). I think for my next phone I'll go back to Samsung.

+ I already had a silver Motorola Razr and admired by partner, silver no longer available so he got black and he loves it.
Slim, attractive, easy to use, camera

- Needs recharged quite often, switch off during the night, but still needs charged about twice a week.

+ This, in my opinion, is a really first class phone. It must be right at the top and I have owned approx. 5/6 phones in my time. Please keep the clamshell design on your porfolio, it does work well and more convenient when held to your ear. The earphone is at your ear and the voice mike is close to your mouth (cuts down on loud "phone voice").

+ The phone is great to use, and looks good. I don't use it for anything other than phone calls and texts and I am thrilled with it - I like the fact that the battery lasts for ages.

- It is annoying that every time I wish to text I have to select proscriptive instead of being able to set it on that so it comes up every time (I have checked with a phone shop and they said that it couldn't be done - so it is not just me!)

- This V3 does not have a multimedia section or themes (which other V3 phones on other networks do have!)
The memory is not that good and could do with having a memory upgrade ability like the V3i.
