+ Good suction. Long stir hose.

- Compared with my Bissell this is SOooooo heavy. I struggle with two hands to lift up and downstairs. This maneouvre is also made more difficult due to the situation of the handle. The only way of carrying it is by holding the main handle with right hand and then grabbing dust cart compartment handle, which is situated on the fron of the machine. (The Bissell had an ergonomic intergral 'cupped' handle in the back of the main handle - much easier!). This machine dosen't seem to want to pick up larger items. By this I only mean the corner piece of some kitchen roll or take the other day - a MINI smartie. This is probably why they've encorporated a 'bits' holder on the top of the machine, where you can store this sort of stuff until you've finished! Also this doesn't do edge to edge cleaning. I can't honestly remember if that was an advertised feature and I must admitt I assumed that all modern day cleaners boasted this feature! Another quibble is the surface changer. It's not automatic and if you're RIGHT HANDED is not a natural procedure. Well after typing all this I think i'll just go and buy a new one!!
Believe it or not i'm not a fussy person when it comes to equipment, as long as it does what it should i'm happy. I've never felt the need to write a review, but if ever an elderly or pregnant person purchased this they'd never cope!

+ Powerful motor, you can feel the carpet lifting off the floor, good capacity of dust storage.

- It is quite heavy for its size and when taking up the stairs.

- Too heavy, too fiddly, poor design switches are inthe wrong places

- It's a bit heavy & there isn't a flat attachment for surfaces like stairs.
