Score 10.0/10

+ Easy to use with clear instructions. The smallest size loaf is ideal for my husband and I for a day's bread. This morning I have managed to bake bread overnight so that we woke up to freshly baked bread!

- Difficult to estimate quantities that refer to a 1/4 of a tablespoon. The spoons provided seem to be geared to only baking the largest size loaves. It would be helpful to give the weight in grams (or ounces) for the smaller size loaves.

+ I've been using this model of breadmaker for over 5 years and only bought this new one as my old one burnt out!! It makes a great loaf every time, it's never let me down.

- The design build of this machine is not as good as the first one I had. The blade does not fit as flush on it's spindle and therefore gets lost inside every loaf.

+ Almost idiot proof to use except in the case of my husband making a wholegrain loaf and using basic white setting. Although what came uot was still a very nice loaf.

- Kneeding paddle needs a firm grip to be able to remove, it takes a few goes but once you get the hang of it, it is managable.

+ Overall a very smart machine. Great value for money. Easy to use. I really enjoy making fresh bread and be waken up in the morning by the aroma. I would recommend look out for other recipes as the ones come with the machine uses an incredible amount of sugar.

- Size is bigger than many other machines on the market. Make sure the dimensions fit your kitchen before buying. Note colour is not white but a little gray.

+ So easy to make a loaf and naan bread is simply amazing in this machine.
A loaf can be set in motion in under 10 minutes - couldn't be simpler.
Easy to look after and clean.
The bread tastes so much better than purchased bulk manufactured bread and there are so many recipes available too.

- Takes a good half hour to cool down before you can set another loaf underway.

Score 8.0/10

+ Easy to use and the bread it makes on the French program is fine.

- The recipes call for way too much sugar - 1 tablespoon whereas I use a teaspoon each of sugar, yeast and salt. The bread doesn't rise enough for my taste unless you use the french bread program (I also tried with the recommeneded amounts of sugar - the bread didn't rise any more but was disgustingly sweet).

+ Simple instructions, makes the perfect size loaf for 2-4 people. Recipes are great, the Granary Loaf especially (though slight tweaking required)

- It does take up a fair amount of space on the worktop, but it can easily be stored in a big cupboard when not in use.
