+ Easy to open, big door, big load capacity. The machine is so obviously the product of clever deigners with the end user in mind. Three options for connecting outlet duct. Alarm for when cycle is over. As high-tech as you want it to be.

- Too many drying options for one household to ever need - is that bad?

+ I love it! Had a Hotpoint that came with the house but it took forever to dry and was very loud. It also shorted out a couple times. This Miele was a bit of money but well worth it! I didn't know waht I was missing in dryers until I got this one and now I don't want to be without it!

- It is deeper than prior dryer so under cabinet is a little tight for side cabinet door to open.

+ It drys the clothes in half of the time of our other tumble dryer and doesn't shrink them either. The drum is very large and easy to get in and out of and the automatic drying sensor means you save electricity.

- As per the reviews that I read before I purchased it the door catch could be better, but is not flimsy and definately doesn't make me regret purchasing the product.

+ Beautifully quiet, automatically chooses appropriate drying time so clothes always dry using minimum drying time. Large drum and excellent range of programmes.

- A little more expensive than the rest. Some items come out damp (items that are one layer synthetic and one layer cotton e.g. duvet covers). All the choices of programmes can be intimidating but after 2-3 uses it comes naturally.

- The door catch is not always easy to engage and the door itself is flimsier (plastic) compared to the rest of the drier which is very sturdy.

+ Its a Miele! Should still be working in 20 years time. Installation was simple and easy to follow.

+ It is really quiet and dries clothes far quicker than my previous dryer. I use the automatic function all the time which is absolutely fantastic.

+ It does what is required of it very efficiently. It is noticeably quieter than my previous dryer and quicker as well.
