- Good points:
- Great interactive fun for the family or friends. The kinect makes it possible to play without risk of throwing controllers and breaking everything (like the Wii). Fairly straight forward to set up and get going. The games are fun and even my Mum managed to have a few go's which is amazing as she struggles to find the on switch for her PC.
- Bad points:
- The console does get quite hot which concerns me as I have encountered the 'Ring of Death' on previous versions of the Xbox. I have purchased a cooling station so hopefully this will eliminate any possiblity of overheating. The kinect struggles to pick up young/small children (my 4 year old stepson got quite upset when it kept losing him). Don't recommend the filter which suuposedly reduces the required play space. It makes it very difficult to pick up players movement (but this is sold seperately anyhow).

- Good points:
- Great appliance, adds many new options to normal gaming and entertainment
- Bad points:
- no web browser (unlike a PS3) would have thought that because it was made by microsoft it would have more of a web capability
