- It is recommended for 4 years + My son is 4 and a half and it is too fiddly for him to manage. To many pieces to put together & because it is flexible it can be tricky to hold.. It took my husband what seemed like all afternoon christmas day to put together the first design. My son enjoyed playing with them but would leave my husband to transform the fire truck into the next design - not interested in helping - took a long time for an adult. Was hoping this would be something he could assemble by himself after a few goes.
