No instructions actually with DVD player on how to convert it to play DVDs from another region.
Remote control does not always work well.

- I have had intermittent problems playing home recorded DVD's. Having tried these DVD's on another machine, SONY, they do play perfectly. The problem arises normally within the first hour or so of switching on. I also have found the Tray jams on occassion. I have thought about returning it to one of your outlets but as the problems are intermittent it would be hard to convince them of a problem.

- I bought this machine because it was advertised as being multi-region capabale. The "fix" being listed alongside it on the website. However this doesn't work - the route described for changing the status of the machine does not display and thus multi-region cannot be set up!

- I could not work out how to make it play DVDs from other areas. In the booklet and on the internet, it says that it would play american DVD's but this didn't work out in practice.

- the instructions were not as comprehensive as they could have been. It was a bit tricky getting it to operate in multiregion mode.

+ My parents were pleased with the present, especially as it was multi regional
- I had problems purchasing the product as I live overseas. I had to phone England to get it all approved. Aiding ex-pats would be very usefull, considering all of my own and many others peoples families still live in the UK
