It's a game that really lives up to its reputation!

- the only one is you can be in 1st places with 100 yards to go and end up last because of items or be last and end up 1st which sometimes removes any skill factor

- As with any multiplayer game you need multiple controllers which can be pricey. No fault of the game though.

+ Excellent online multiplayer (ability to have two players on one console). Deep grand prix mode with many unlockables and a star rating system that shows up when you play online. Choice of control options is perfect and the Wii wheel system is very fun. A total of 32 race tracks and 12 battle arenas. 24 playable characters (the most ever for a Mario Kart game) and the abiltity to play as your mii in two different oputfits. Incredibly easy to take online. Having played many games in this genre this is by far the best (so far) and is highly recommended.

- Lack of grand prix mode but this was not sorely missed due to the online and very well done grand prix mode.
The game loses some minor points for features due to the battle mode as you are forced to play as a team. A free for all mode would have been a welcome option.

+ The main game is as you'd expect and you work your way through the 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and Mirror Mode. This works well and i like the transition to Bikes as well as cars! I'd say the main plus to the game is the online mode and it has to be one of the best online games on the market. Having 1 and 2 player online modes, choosing betweek bikes and cars and race or battle is all awesome! Then when you get to joining a game you see all players Mii's from around the world and pin-pointed on a map. Love the gameplay!

+ Excellent game, if you have wireless internet you can play online with people from around the world or friends. Lots of levels and caharacters to unlock. Very addictive!

+ Very good product that is fun for all people of all ages to play. Was very surprised that even young children are able to master it after a short time. Like the fact it is so interactive and realistic.
