Mai Tai Glasses

+ Fashionable and really affordable

- No choice of arm length on the glasses

+ Great design that i can't find in high street shops, and for such a strong prescription the lenses don't look thick at all.

- They seem to steam up very easily, more so then any other glasses i've had!

- I probably wouldn't buy my 'for best' specs at Glasses Direct but reading/second pair sunglasses, deffo. Also explaining to the (very nice) optician that I wasn't going to buy specs after he had given me an eye test was toe-curling...

+ Trendy, cheap, look expensive / designer.

- No branding for those that need a label... I dont.

- having bought them, i'm not so keen on their shape.

+ Love them! People call them my Ronnie Barkers and i love it. I got them to suit my fashion style and they work really well, they also make my features smaller due to them being larger, great purchase!

- I have a small face and really wanted big thick black glasses so sometimes when i look down the slide a little bit but thats expected, i purchased them more for the style then comfort.

+ The glasses arrived reasonably quickly and the staff were very helpful. The styles available were modern and varied.

- The arms of the glasses are very loose and will need attention almost one month after purchase.

- because of curve of frame vision was at first distorted, plus their too loose for my head which the trial pair were not

+ Quite fashionable i think. Cheap enough to just buy for fashion and not have to worry about keeping them for years. Feel sturdy and hard wearing! Dont think they will break very easily.

- Only bad point is that they are quite loose fitting around my head... but maybe mine is just smaller than i thought.

+ Great retro looking specs, robust without being too heavy.

+ I bought these for my daughter and as you see from the above scores, she is very pleased with them. They are a very fashionable (dare I say "geeky-chic"!) shape. She has had lots of positive comments about them (even from strangers who have asked her wheere she got them from).

- very tight fitting around ears as if they are designed for women, will need some tweaking to obtain a comfortable fit. colour almost black, not tortoiseshell (although I was expecting this after reading other reviews)

+ They are funky and stylish. I feel even more intelligent than i am when wearing my Mai Tai glasses. I have recieved many compliments while wearing my Mai Tai glasses. Buy them as they are great.

+ sturdy, stylish (well, I think so. very Michael Caine c.1965, or Peter Sellers, light. and they have a good area of vision. Also, easy to find.

- arm joints don't have springs, and have loosened up. (in a month)

- Had to open up the bridge with my Dremel 'cos I have a big nose.
