Solid frames cannot be adjusted if you have a wonkey nose:
you might be better off with ones with wires.

+ Good style - just what I wanted for prescription sunglasses.

- Main part of glasses did not appear to be tortoiseshell but the arms were! Would have preferred a more mottled appearance overall.
The arms were too loose but went into a high street opticians who tightened them for free!

+ I have these with transition lenses so they look great in and out of the sun! They look as good as a designer pair at a fraction of the price.

- This is my second pair due to losing the first pair to a girl who wanted to try them on when I was drunk so I didn't get them back!

+ I bought the glasses as an experiment to see how cheap I could get my new glasses for, so I got the bargain basement deal, quite cheap frames, cheap lenses. But I have noticed no difference in quality whatsoever with glasses I have bought from other high street glasses shops.

- People keep asking me where I've got my glasses from, so soon everybody'll probably be wearing them!

- Focus is too close at about 12". Normal reading distance is around 15"-18".
The prescription shows reading or distance only. Can you from that information come up with an intermediate focus ?

+ The frames were incredibly cheap, and stylish.

- The frames became quite badly misshaped during postage and the legs are now uneven. Since they are only an 'emergency' pair for me this isn't too much of an issue, but if they were my everyday glasses I would need to have them adjusted, and I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that with an online order!

+ A lovely, stylish pair of specs. Very very happy with them - much cheaper than vintage alternatives I was looking at. I got the thin lenses and it came to around 80 pounds in total and the lenses are very aesthetically pleasing.

- There arn't proper grips on the glasses and they just slide down your face non stop. Very annoying. Alsio i havn't had them fior very long and one of the screws fell out and is completly lost so i dont think there very good quality. Definitly not worth the money!

- ..but as in one of the previous review, the Tortoise Shell model I bought is a lot darker than it looks on the picture here at GD, which is a pitty, because most of us would like the brighter highlights to be eaisly noticable as this is the key of that colour scheme, they're still there but not as vivd as You would think( I did think).

- Poor quality. No spring on arms, the design and choice of colour is minimal. For example i bought the Tortoise shell- it is barley visible

There's lots of choice when it comes to colour and design points, although personally, I definitely prefer the bold statement that black makes :]

- Hard to find any bad points other than the fact that I often have to clean the lenses, but then that's probably more down to my lifestyle than the glasses and I imagine you have to clean most glasses' lenses a lot of the time.

- My second pair - the first sat loose and wonky on my face and the second are very tight (but thankfully level). Perhaps i'm unlucky, but the fit is very different dunno whats going on with quality control... but i wish there was a way for me to just adjust them myself so that they could fit me nicely.... just a suggestion
