+ easy to set up. good picture and sound quality. have only viewed pre-recorded dvd's

- not compatable with analogue tv so have been unable to record as I don't have digital yet, this was explained in the last paragraph of the manual!!!!

+ The unit is good to look at and at the time of purchase was very gfood value for money. It was very easy to set up.

- The remote control is too small and I feel that the buttons I most use for recording would be better, larger and positioned in the centre of the handheld. The navigating arrows take up too much space and I to date I have rarely used them. I mainly wanted to use the unit to record programmes but have not found either the "Quick Start" or the manual easy to follow. I am learning without either.
