Good points:: This is a great tumble dryer, pricey but well worth the extra money, I already have the washing machine so knew what to expect quality wise, I wasn't disappointed.
Bad points:: Very heavy to move.

Good points:: Based on our experience of an LG washing machine we bought this dryer. It has an excellent build, inc drum light and easily accessible fluff filter and condenser.
This is a cool machine !!
Bad points:: Pricey but well worth it.

Good points:: looks nice
easy to use
instructions non-existent with regards to the shelf supplied fits inside of machine no idea what it is for
Bad points:: no reverse tumble
bulky items are tumbled into a ball
long drying times
beware of temperature of the outside gets extremely hot
comes with a shelf for inside of machine - no idea what it is

Good points:: I have never owned a condenser tumble dryer and was concerned that it may not dry the clothes very well. My concerns were unfounded this dryer is fab! Dries brilliantly, it is easy to empty the water container (and it can be plumbed in as well if you want) and it is QUIET. Makes the washing machine seem really loud now!
Bad points:: The only drawback I can see is that it is supposed to sit quite a distance out from the wall which may make it hard to fit under a bench.

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
