+ EASY TO NAVIGATE, SIMPLE TO USE, MUCH EASIER FOR ARTHRITIC FINGERS AND FAILING EYESIGHT THAN A NORMAL KEYBOARD, CAN SEE THIS EASILY WITHOUT MY READING GLASSES. COLOUR AND SHARPNESS GOOD, GREAT CAMERA PICS.

- Too light and cheap feeling, not the feel of a good quality lasting phone. The features are basic and it doesn't look appealing compared to what else is available on the market. The scrolling feature is suprisingly basic for what is expected of the phone. The battery life is pathetic, even with minimal basic use it needs charging every day and its only a few weeks old. The layout of the media storage is poor, with organisation of pictures difficult as although it is organised into separate folders in the memory card on the 'my images' folder they are all jumbled up. This is irratating if you have loads of pictures. I feel lg could have done miles better and it definitely needs improvement. Maybe the viewty smart is the answer. Ive swapped for a lg renoir now and am much happier as it is sooooo much better!! =D

- needs a stylus pen to work, scrolling never works- it goes too far or not at all (it selects options when you try to scroll down), camera is grainy when focussing in on the picture, takes ages to take a picture so theres no quick shots, battery life isn't very good, when on silent it doesnt even vibrate so you don't know when you have a message or there's no vibrate profile, can't resize images for the display screen effectively- it zooms too far so you can't get the size of the picture you want, you can't use the light independantly from the camera, when using the touch screen keypad it often doesn't register that you have pressed a button so you press again and two letters come on screen.

+ small light and pocket size excellent screen size and very good definition

- keypad not as sensitive as expected my grandson has a different LG model

+ Touch screen is brilliant, never had one before and I like it. Large screen is much better than my previous mobile, I can actually read it and mainly that is what I was looking for. This LG Viewty fitted my requirements. After finding my way about the phone I find it very easy to navigate. After reading previous reviews I was a bit sceptical about battery life but I find mine lasts for 2-3 days before charging, thats good.
I would recommend this phone to anyone. I like the camera which is very easy to use but see bad ponits below.

- I took some photo's with the camera which were downloaded to the phone itself and I can't find out how to download them to either Picasso or Windows Live Photo's. Of course I later found the slot for an SD card which is really hidden away. Other than that no other bad points.

+ Range of features, ease of use etc. Overall good value for money in terms of cost, technology and what similar priced phone had to offer at the time I bought it.

- None in terms of the above context - except maybe the extra cost because my wife now wants one as well!!!

+ it looks good, very relible and doesnt crash or go slow, web browsing is good, good memory, good camera and recording, easy to carry around, lovely touch screen, is brilliant all round.

- only thing lets it down is the battery life.

- battery charging - a definite downside - need to charge , if not daily, every second day - a real inconvenience. Also twice in one month it has been difficult buying bundles online as the facility has been 'out of order', - again not convenient.

- The battery life runs out quite quickly, and the settings menu is not very detailed. For example, it does not display your current ring tone or text alert sound. Also i have been very disapointed with vodafone as i get very poor reseption where i live. I am thinking about getting a new sim card with another network E.g. o2 or orange!!!! :(

+ Nice clean design, very light in weight, brilliant camera, big clear touchscreen, excellent value for money, simple navigation, some nice features like 120 frames per second video, xenon flash and good photo editing with many features. In summery a fantastic little phone which looks part.

- Phone list always puts surnames first even though I have selected the option on having first names first.

+ Stylish, very easy to use. I can even use it without putting my glasses on as the display is quite large.

Poor Quality of the photos as they appear grainy, some what dissapointing in a 5 Megapixel camera.
