+ Everything about the LG Shine is good, it looks so stylish and is easy to use.

- Battery life could be better but it depends really on how much you use your phone obviously.

+ I absolutly love the way it looks!

- The roller is too sensitive and the screen gets scratched really easily

- abismal reception. long winded navigation with regard to sending messages. poor memory.very slow camera.

+ It's a great phone, stylish, smart, flat and easy to fit into a pocket, it can also hold great tunes from the computer so it's well worth having.

- The only bad points are that if the phone is in my bag, then not always can i hear it when it rings.

- There's no zoom on the camera; pictures received from other phones are declared as incompatible when trying to assign them to a contact; adding/removing from the playlist is a chore; there's no fm radio; there's no option to save texts into your own sub-folders like on Nokia phones; holding down the 'C' button when in a text should gradually delete one character at a time rather than clear the entire text; as you delete backwards through a word in a text, the T9 dictionary should kick back in like it does on Nokia phones;

+ its a really good looking phone and its easy to use. the mp3 player is good with headphones too

- the battery life on mine isnt that good. and the sound quality of the mp3 player without headphones needs improvement

- never any signal, cant see my screen in the light/ daytime. cant even hear my phone going off, way too quiet. always miss calls because you cant really feel it vibrating if your walking and you definatly cant hear it. thats its biggest let down, the sound.

- it is slow to open menus and features, the scroll bar is very sensitive and sometimes scrolls down when you press it to select a contact or feature. the screen is very easily scratched

- It does not allow you to phone several areas and to hear people is very difficult

+ I bought this phone as a christmas present for the wife and she loves it! I'm not realy into phones but I will quote the wife: "it (the phone) as an amasingly easy to navigate menu system and I can send pictures/video messages dead easly".

- Hard to use, not instinctive at all, too many steps to send an SMS, camera rubbish, no auto flash and bad pixelage, fiddly to open, hard to hear the ring tone.

+ Precious little good to say about this phone. The only plus point is that its screen does not scratch easily

- Clunky keypad, heavier than the chocolate, the metallic finish is not very good, there is no way to change the colour scheme for the menu. It comes up really short on the design part.

- Messaging seems full of glitches, scroll bar is often inaccurate, keys are difficult to press

+ The roll bar can be a bit awkward as it seems to lag a little bit behind so you get the optionin before or after the one you want. Its not too good in sun light as you can't see the screen. I love the style feel and look of the phone. The camra is fun and easy to use and i've not run into any memory problems as of yet.

- The hands free supplied does not fit the phone and do not have time to be shopping around for another one so this is not in use.

+ looks really nice, is very easy to install software on pc and use it. charges quickly and lasts quite a while.

- the only 2 bad points are first, it doesnt have a very loud ring volume, so sometimes i dont hear it even when its on loud profile.
SEcondly the major down side is when you are typing a text msg and enter d,e or f it quite often thinks you have pressed the end key which is above and send you back to the main screen, although the message is still in 'create new' it is annoying to have to go back into the menu and so on.

+ It is a neat little phone that is reliable. However, it does seem to have a lot of clicks to get to where you want. Also, the joy stick is not very explanatory - sometimes it is great to use it, and in other functios it is not. The soccer game is great!

- Musis Player too low. Cant have downloaded songs as your message tone.

- i dont think the battery life is very good, the scroll keypad is very hard to use it skips over the selection u want if you scroll to much on the button, the sound is nt very loud i.e the ring tones, there is not much choice of message alert tones.

+ I do not have to put my specs on to see keypad and messages.I find it easy to navigate and to understand it all this is important when you are getting on a bit.

- Can't seem to save any music to the MP3 player.

+ It looks great, it can also hold a relatively good amount of songs on its internal memory...about 7/8. The keybad is easy to use because the keys aren't ridiculously small and also the layout of the phone is also easy to use.

- The sound quality of the phone isn't very good neither is the volume and is really hard to hear in your hand-bag, the camera is also not that great and the battery life isn't that good but it will last at a push 2/3 days, that is without listening to music etc.

- calendar is not very good - doesn't allow for recording birthdays properly with the year of birth etc to calculate age. images are slow to load - doesn't seem to allow direct download from memory card.

- charginging does not last long if used alot. when setting personal tunes as ringtones they are very low in sound and so you can t here your phone ring. the whole processes of the phone are very slow and you have to wait for it to do things

+ easy to read menu. large screen. clear sound when listening to music or during a call. can delete all read text messages leaving those that are unread undeleted. Has the option to extend the memory via a micro sd card.

- doesn't have many features to display the look of the phone. Have to select multipule receipiants of a message one at a time. Camera takes a long time to take a picture.
