+ A good all round washing machine with energy efficiency and good drum size, very quiet and easy to us.

- moves all over the place on laminate floor! No spin cycle, dreadful instructions. The child lock only works during a cycle, so you cant stop the kids turning it on!

+ Large drum reduces number of washes. Direct drive makes the machine extremely quiet. Easy to operate. Cycles can be altered ie number of rinces, temperature, spin speed.

- Machine is quite deep and sticks out from worktop.

+ All bells and whistles you'd want and a great size drum

+ Absolutley silent even when its spinning at 1400 rpm. I get more noise from the water flowing through the drain! The drum size is huge and for my large family it has cut the loads in half so the extended wash time is countered by that.

- The child lock only works when the machine is engaged in a cycle and when you turn on the machine it turns on pretty lights, so my son thinks its highly amusing to switch the machine on and off.

This machine will be cheaper in the long term due to the savings in the cost of electricity used as well as the fantastic features it offers.

+ Timer lets you know when wash will be finished and then plays a tune to alert you. Quiet, even on fast spin.

- Instructions manual is hopeless and no better online.

+ The water usage is brilliant and I have done several different size loads. Plus the additional options are excellent depending on what you are washing

+ The steam cycle, automatically senses the load weight to determine how much water to use, can use the steam wash in a main wash which is brilliant for stain removal. I love it!

+ Great machine - the controls are easy to use and it washes well. It is very quiet, even when spinning, and is very sturdy and does not move when it is spinning.

- The instructions could have done to be translated from Korean a little better.

- 4cm deeper than a standard 600mm worktop

+ Its extremally stylish which was my main priority, we havent used all the programmes yet but so far we are really pleased with it. Its much quieter than our last machine and I like the larger drum which should enable us to wash our quilts.

- I havent come across any bad points other than its not one of the cheapest machines. Some people have commented that it sticks out but this has not proved a problem for us.

+ this is my second lg, the last one lasted 9 yrs with 1 call out in all that time. choosing a LG again was a no brainer.

+ It's a pretty good piece of kit, well engineered and very quiet.

- protroudes further than a std m/c of lesser drum size but that's to be expected. However, people do like to math appliances with kitchen units etc so this does pose a bit of an asthaetic problem at least.

+ Really easy to use. Can find cycles that suit you and your time. Huge drum, soc an get more washing in. Love that you know when cycle will finish and plays a tune to remind you. My son is fascinated by the moving t-shirt display. Extra features such as crease care and being able to adjust spin are great. Thinking about getting the dryer to match.

- Some of the cycles are a little long and difficult to know how much liquid you are pouring into the compartment. Otherwise that's it. Great machine.

+ it pings and does a great picture when in use ha ha door is a great size to get everything in the controles are easy to read thats it im off now wizzing through the washing

+ Quiet, less washes due to large drum, able to wash duvets, better wash performance than old machine, clothes cleaner/fresher, no washing powder residue, hand wash cycle is brill, washed silk/wool top, dry clean only trousers both came out fine,good choice of cycles to use and energy efficient, amazing technology and its very stylish, I have the Black model.

+ The drum size is great, the steam cycle is fabulous, and it is so quiet!

- The cycle times can be quite long, also no separate spin cycle you have to rinse and spin
