Score 10.0/10+ I live in sheltered accomodation and we needed a large television in the lounge of the complex so that all the rsidents would be able to see the picture. There is a good picture quality which is great. We have added a loop system so that people who are hard of hearing will be able to hear it OK.
- So far there have been no "BAD PARTS"

Score 9.0/10+ Excellent picture - better than expected.
- Sound is nowhere near up to the picture quality, but then I'm using a separate sound system anyway so it's not a problem.

Score 9.0/10+ Tv is very flat and picture on screen can be viewed from more angles than expected for an LCD screen. Has enough Audio and Video Input sockets for everything to be plugged in
- Remote Control appears to not always work when you point it at the same spot on the tv, it normal takes one or two presses of the same button

Score 10.0/10+ crystal clear resolution - even when not watching in HD
- Shiny outside border tends to reflect the light in the room. A matt finished border would have made this product 100% for me.

Expert reviews for LG 52LG5000
TechRadar expert review
The LG 52LG5000 is a beast. At first, when released from the box, this LG's size is only mildly intimidating, but alongside its peers, this is one heee-uge TV. The main reason for this is that the Korean manufacturer has slapped an enormous gloss-black, plastic-looking bezel around the edge of the set, increasing the fascia's visible area to monstrous proportions.Monstrous but slim LCDOn the plus side, compared to rival models from Toshiba and Philips, it's super-shallow. Ironic then that it's images have such depth. Admittedly, Freeview television pictures, from the box, are a little…
