John, Dublin , “I like my gadgets!”
Score 9.0/10+ Picture quality is great, connectivity options excellent particularly the optical out which means none of my devices need to connected to the surround sound amp, just the TV....and I love the bluetooth for showing photos, it is a doddle to use and the consoles look amazing and the blu ray really gets to show itself off on the screen.
- The sound is not great, but to be honest most flat screens are like this as they dont have the space to create big bass sounds...i dont really like saying its a bad point as i expected it to be like this.

Had TV for around a month now - one word to describe - Excellent.
Picture quality is excellent, features (Trumotion and Real Cinema in particular) are very good. Watching SKY HD content (even though it's 1080i rather than 1080p) is a revelation in comparison to my previous Sony.
Value for money is outstanding (had bought 40" Sony LCD before that had a picture fault after 18 months - not worth the extra money).
I would recommend this TV.
- None.

Score 10.0/10+ Excellent picture - both on HD and SD. Realistic colours. 100Hz and TruMotion work well together to reduce motion blur. Clear and easy to use menus. Good connectivity.
- The user manual is supplied as a PDF document on CD. At 300 plus pages, I don't intend to print it out myself and going backwards and forwards to my computer to read the manual is a pain. I wasn't over impressed with the built in sound, but then again I had become accustomed to a home cinema setup before purchasing this TV. Works well with the LG Home Cinema system I purchased with the TV, but I have to reset the audio input to optical out every time I change input source on the TV - e.g. HDMI1 to AV1.

Expert reviews for LG 47LG7000
TechRadar expert review
Many TVs these days add multimedia playback to their basic television talents. But LG's 47in 47LG7000 takes this a step further by making at least some of its multimedia functionality available wirelessly, via Bluetooth. Now you can send digital photos from a Bluetooth-enabled mobile to the TV or listen to the TV's sound using wireless Bluetooth headphones. It's a nice party piece, but this TV has better tricks up its sleeve‚ĶEye-catchingTruMotion 100Hz immediately catches our eye ‚Äì it doubles the usual PAL frame rate to counteract LCD's traditional motion blur problems.
