+ Superb standard and high definition picture quality, great design and fantastic sound quality. Setting up the screen couldn't have been any easier either as works preety much straight out of the box

- It's hard to think of any. I wasn't overy pleased with the factory pre-set picture setting but these can be altered without any problems (don't let this put you off)

+ Fantastic TV. everything I want from a tv and more, excellant picture and sound quality, easy to use, does have auto install, even though description says it hasn't. USB slot is really usefull, digi cams, divx films, and music straight from any USB device. The auto brightness and contrast is fantastic. The menu for freeview channels is clear and easy to use. Picture quailty excellant even very close up, does not pixelate. Can't recommend this T.V. enough!!!!! A**************************************

+ the usb option for reading in images,mp3's and best of all DIV-x movies to the TV is worth the price of the TV alone- saves me hours and hours of having to encode video files to dvd.

- only one i can think is its not full 1080p but dosnt affect me yet as i have no HD channels or players

+ Very good clean design and modern layout. Sound is very good compared to other LCD/Plasmas I have had in the past, so if you don't want to spend extra on a surround sound system this is ideal. Image quality is pretty good even on freeview. Black levels on this set are superb and the picture tweaks you can make in the menu should get a decent picture for everybodys differing likes/dislikes. Lastly because of the brilliant black levels and superb motion this LG Plasma is brilliant at gaming via my Xbox 360 with no lag whatsoever - don't let anybody convince you that you need 1080p for gaming, because you don't.

- I have noticed it is not as good as my Panasonic PX80B Plasma on poorer/older material and sources, it is a fair bit sharper hence it shows up every flaw and can throw in a very off colour palette now and again. I have also noticed a slight banding which shows up very badly in skin tones on all sources HD, DVD and Freeview - no matter how I tweak it this is still pretty apparent. To lower the chance of Temporary Image Retention go into your menu and activate the Orbiter and keep your settings on the cinema/standard and off the vivid setting for the first couple of months of use and then adjust the settings to whatever levels suit your eye after that.

+ Great picture quatity even without HD channels.
I have Virgin cable for my television service and the standard picture is great through a scart.
I watch DVD's through my XBOX 360 via a HDMI cable and the picture and sound is amazing on both games and DVD's.

- I=Every now and then I get a 'clipping' sound from the TV. Not sure what it is or weather it is important. I keep forgeting about it so I guess not very important.

+ very easy to set up was worried about screen burn on the plasma and low and behold i fell asleep and woke to find a virgin media logo on the screen but this faded within about an hour so panic over thank god!!
did drop the contrast level down to 50% as advised. sound is good but cant wait for the suround sound, boys and their toys LOL. watched the football and found no time lag very smooth
overall an excellent buy very happy.

+ Fantastic value for money, USB input is a super bonus. My parent's have a Pioneer 50" plasma and the image quality is not much different to this LG. Very slick design, Blu-ray movies are incredible off the PS3 and all games capable of being played in HD are extremely detailed. Speakers are great even when turned up high, very easy to use menu system

- Remote control functionality is great BUT shame it's so lightweight and slightly tacky looking!

+ goods fantastic, easy set up an all round great TV

- not really any to point out, although a better more modern design remote would have been nice, as it seems a little out of date compared to the TV
