- all, except sound quality. Easy to set up but buyers should spend a little time customising image to their taste. It's very easy and the results are superb, especially the HD freeview channels.

Ian, Glossop Film and documentary lover
- Good points:
- Extremely good quality HD image, bright and crisp. We found the set-up menu system to be particularly easy to navigate and the video/audio connectivity provided is particularly comprehensive. The auto-linkage with other LG products (such as a Blue Ray player) is really useful, saving the need to select video input each time. It is such good value for money that we don't feel that buying from one of the many much more expensive manufacturers would justify the relatively small improvements in technical performance that could be achieved. The picture quality certainly surpassed our expectations for what was being billed in the techy press as a middle-of-the road model.
- Bad points:
- We've now had time to thoroughly checked out what we want this TV to do and no bad points have come to mind.

Nice design
Great picture, sometimes! - Bad points:
-
Awful clouding from edge lighting making it very distracting in dark scenes
Sound is rubbish
Ultimately I have returned it and bought a Panasonic TX-P42S20, much better uniform picture. The 42LE5900 could have been a great TV if not for the clouding.
