+ Nice design works fine with Playstation 3 at 1080p resolution. Sound is OK this is a good second TV especally at the price.

- Scren struggles to cope with cable TV colours and brightness on all settings not as good a pictureas my tube set.

+ Great quality picture and sound, especially gaining full HD capability for the price. Looks fantastic. And great functionality of switching between inputs e.g. from aerial to DVD player/games console etc. Set up was very simple too.

- No off-button on the tv. The remote is quite badly designed, I don't know anyone know still uses the number buttons to go through channels, so the majority of the buttons you use e.g. guide/arrow navigation/power are all at the top of a very long remote. In the guide menu flicking through programmes it has an annoying habit of not staying to progammes in the same timeframe as you go through the channels, I also haven't found a way of selecting a programme that the tv automatically changes to later in the evening, like my original freeview did. But overall, this is still a fantastic tv and I would thoroughly recommend it.

+ I was sceptical about flat screen tvs, but the picture on this full HD model is really good. Freeview works well, though it's not so obvious how to set it up, because it's called DTV (digital TV).

+ The TV looks good in my room, I thought that it may be too big but I am very happy with it.
Picture quality is superb. I am looking forward to more programs in Full HD.
I haven't tweaked the picture to make flesh tones less garish but have made some improvement and will do more as I have time.
The controls are easy to use and there is much more for me to learn how to get the most out the TV and the DVD recorder which I have bought (another LG product)

+ I'v had this TV a few week's now and I am very VERY pleased with it. The picture is superb with vibrant colour, and is easily set to one's own preference via the remote. I also like the satin finish of the screen which reflect's very little of the lighting in the room, but what it does is defused, unlike gloss screen's or glass, this also make's it much easier to clean than the matt one's. It was easy to set the sound up to my liking - which is to voice as my hearing is a bit dull. From reading other reviews a couple noted buzzing from the unit, but mine is silent. Colour is to the beholder, but I like the piano black. It seem's very well built, and was easy to assemble and set up.

- There is no power of switch, though standby use's only 0.6 watt's. The remote is not very logical but I am getting use to it.

- Plasma TV gives much better, much more natural colour, LCD TVs seem to show picture noise in dark areas and blow out in bright. So much so that we let my mother have this TV & bought a Panasonic Plasma which, although is only 720p, gives an amazingly natural picture.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase

- The user manual is very basic so if you need more info you need a PC to read the PDF file on the supplied disc.
The sound quality can sometimes be iffy. However there are multiple frequency settings that can be toyed around with to improve the sound quality ( I just havent got around to fiddling with this as yet)

+ We did all the research and this told us that this was the right tv for the price. Anything bigger would look wrong in a small room. The picture is good and doesn't 'ghost'. It can be seen from all around the room.

- Probably the same for all digital tvs, the delay in selecting channels

+ Great quality picture, which stabilises over the first few days. For the price, the best buy around from my research at the time. Works great with Mac mini - perfect 1080p (if you install switchresX), no overscan issues on scan to fit option. Freeview tuner gives great picture.

+ Excellent picture and sound quality - this is a bargain of a TV at the price when you consider the top notch specification. Easy to set up too apart from the assembly of the stand which is a tad fiddly.

- This is a personal bugbear - I hate the glossy 'piano black' finish. It seems to be that most TV's are made like this at the moment but I think it looks tacky and is a dust and fingerprint magnet. Shame because this takes the TV from a 10 to a 9 in my view when combined with the fiddly stand assembly.

+ Excellent picture and remote. Sound is particuarly good for an LCD. On screen menus are really good. Fiddled for a while with settings to get picture as good as previous Sony CRT - had both side by side with same signal, got LCD to look almost as perfect :)

- The only minor thing is when you turn the tv off it goes into standby mode, so it does not turn off completley

- slow to respond to remote control, perhaps this is common as I have a Toshiba that is the same. Unable to mount to flush to wall due to scart lead protruding at the back so consideration needs to be given to ensure the correct wall mounting bracket is purchased.
