+ good picture and sound first lcd tv iv purchased so good space saver

- a bit fragile on its stand slides a bit to easy

+ I like the Gloss Black finish, and the curved lower edge to the unit. The TV is very crisp and clean to look at. Picture quality isn't as high as a 1080, but then you wouldn't expect that, and for normal TV and Sky HD viewing this doesn't make a difference.

- I'm not 100% happy with the volume levels, I find it needs to be pretty high on it's scale to sound as loud as my previous CRT unit.

+ Excelent picture and sound quality. Plugs into laptop or PC and we often watch the BBC iPlayer on it. Great on the PS3 too. Built in free-view is quick and easy. An impressive piece of kit.

- Power switch only toggles on/standby so needs to be turned off at the wall. Not a big problem considering the incredible number of features for such a price.

+ Very easy and quick set up (a five year old could do it). Good design, easy to operate. Very good picture. Not too heavy therefore easily wall-mountable. Ours is in the bedroom. The sleep facility uses either the main menu or the quick menu both of which feature large figures which means I dont have to search for my glasses to set sleep time.

- Like most LCDs they take a few seconds to warm up.

+ I was delighted how easy it waas to set up. As I am of the female gender, over 70 and NOT mechanically minded, I was delighted to have it up and running in 30mins. Not bad for an 'old gal'

+ I bought this for the conservatory and Wii because of the sensor on the screen for the picture. The picture is great for normal viewing and for the Nintendo. The sound is brilliant and not being able to see the speakers a bonus.

- Quite tricky to get the picture quality correct, could actually have done with some help. Colour is neat, but doesn't fit with current brushed steel trends and existing furniture. A choice would be good.

+ nice design picture is great compared to my last one (vistron) a lot of picture settings, and pre-settings, such as cinema, game, sport, etc even though it has the hd option, i play my DVD player through a scart lead and the picture is still amazing!! when hooking a computer up to the TV via VGA, the picture is excellent, when i then hooked it up via HD, i couldn't believe my eyes!!!

- takes about 3 seconds for it to turn on, not a BAD point, but for some people this may be annoying the sound QUALITY is excellent! but the sound VOLUME doesn't go very high, if the TV was in a big living room, you'd probably have the volume turned up quite high all the time to get the right level.
but mine is in my bedroom, so it is loud enough. but you could always just plug in some more speakers some freeview channels are a little 'blurry', but that may just be my reception. attracts dust, i wipe my down about once a week, and that keeps it looking new. i had to play around with the picture settings to get it looking nice, at first it looked like a 'painting' effect. if you go into a store, and have a look at the picture, you can see for yourself. there is no power on/off switch on the tv, so you would have to unplug it or turn it off via mains, else it is always on standby.

+ Great look, very stylish. Swivel stand makes it easy to move the screen if needed. Great picture and sound.

- Only downside is that there is no power off button, you have to switch it off at the plug if you don't want to leave it on standby. I would have thought that in this day and age of being energy efficient that there would be a power off button. Apart, from that it is a great TV.

+ Image quality and design is good. Good value for money. It is easy to set up and the controls are easy to use.

- The sound quality is not as good as I would like and I have to put it on a fairly high setting to hear it.

And as a plus it seems to output on 1080p on my ps3. Glossy finish!!!

- As usual with LCDs you will need to do a few settings and changes to yr taste to get the best out of yr tv

+ Clear picture and good pure sound quality. Although it is black it appears to blend into the background! HD picture is excellent. Easy set up for most functions.

- I'm having trouble getting the TV to read my DVD player - I have tried 2 but it still won't see them! The basic instructions are not detailed enough so I am about to try the DVD with instructions that came with it in the hope that it will give me more info!

their is no way of turning the tv of on it you have to unplug it from the wall each time or leave it on standby

+ So far absolutely love this tv. Extremely easy to set up, looks terrific and provides very good quality. Excellent value for money (at the time I purchased)!

- Picture quality is slightly too bright, but then obviously I need to adjust this and haven't quite got around to it yet, so it probably isn't really a bad point of the tv just my laziness in adjusting the brightness.

+ like most modern flat screens, its a nice looking piece of kit which takes up little space.
This LG has great sound and picture, the sound can appear surround or panoramic at times. a great feature considering the speakers are hidden around the sides.
A very user friendly tv at a very competitive price bracket.

- Poor PC image both via monitor cable and HDMI even at optimal 1360*768 resolution. Nowhere nowhere near as sharp as previously owned LG 32" LCD. Sound also poor at higher volumes cabinet vibrates with even moderate bass.

+ Overall I think this was a really good purchase - it's a nice TV, very modern look. The image quality is very good, especially for games.

- Fingerprints! I guess this is a problem with all piano finish TVs, but it kinda ruins the look of the TV having finger prints on the frame. The remote is also quite slow to respond. But these are only small things - based on viewing experience I would definately recommend.

+ the tv is very user friendly. i particular like the fact that you change the the picture and sound modes on the tv. for example if you are watching sports or playing game then you can change the mode acordingly the sound is similar.

- Sound is awful, vibration from speakers means I cannot use the sound from the TV and have to have it routed through my Stereo. Freeview receiver doesn't pick up as many channels as my freeview box.
