LG 19LH2000 Reviews: 19" Screen LCD HD Ready TV

+ Good design, good picture.

- Incredibly poor sound: especially the volume.
Even at 100%, it cannot be heard clearly.

+ Picture quality is great once backlight is turned up. Menus are simple and easy to follow.

- Awful sound quality, almost the worst sound I've ever heard from a big name brand tv!
Eco button is a stupid gimmick, and far too easy to accidentally select!
The default low backlight setting makes picture look awful, once backlight is turned up all is fine.

+ The design & the picture quality is superb. I would definately recommend an LG tv.

+ A GREAT LITTLE TV FOR A SMALL ROOM.

+ Good looking and neat compact unit with straight forward menu system. Good viewing angle and great wall mounted

- Defaults to digital tuner (freeview) which is great for regular TV. However if you have a RF (aerial) distributed feed for Sky, DVD or a VHS player from another room it is a pain to select it.

+ For a small room this is an ideal product, the speakers dont carry much depth (due to the size of the TV) but the image quality makes this a great product.

- None that I would shout about.

+ Very clear picture , and good for gaming .

- Sound is poor . Could benefit from bass boost .

+ Good picture quality even without HD feed. Ability to delete all the home shopping and encrypted chanels is an unexpected benefit as far as I'm concerned.

- Sound quality a bit naff - too much treble with no bottom end. OK for bedroom use. Mains on/off switch is difficult to reach when wall mounted. Lots of functions but difficult to access through the menu system at least to begin with.

+ Crisp bright picture, epg seems to load quickly, tuning straightforward.

- Not all customisations are accessible through the main menu system, e.g. favourites can only be set through the 'quick menu' . Remote control buttons feel a little spongy but work ok.

+ This is a great t.v for a bedroom. I have linked my dvd player up to it via Hdmi and the picture is superb. Very impressive. As with many other comments about the sound. Yes it isn't the best but then I was'nt expecting it to be. Due to being a small t.v. That's why it's up stairs and not in the living room. Thats where I have my other Lg 37". Lg is tops!! Very easy on screen instructions. Plug it in, turn it on the rest is done for you!!

the colour does not fade when you move about like some other tv's

- Some of the handset buttons seem small and in wrong place for convenience. No HDMI connection

+ Very easy set up. Plug and play. Sharp image.

- Tinny sound from built in speakers, but easily rectified with external speakers.
