- Good points:
- The laptop is gorgeous. Beautiful ergonomic design, and very very good value for money. Definitely recommended!
- Bad points:

Occassionally the laptop isn't completely silent, as the fans can whir a bit to prevent overheating.
I must admit I was a little surprised at the speed. I had thought that 6GB DRRIII RAM would make this laptop faster than my old desktop, which only had 4GB DDRII RAM. In retrospect however I cannot make a direct comparison, as the desktop PC was running Windows XP and this laptop comes with Windows 7. I think Windows 7 in general runs quite slowly. Computers may be faster and more capable in terms of processing power, but Microsoft operating systems have not improved in efficiency, and so increased speed is not guaranteed.

Manufacturer's Description
Affordable product, high-price performance.
These laptops are an affordable way to tackle your everyday computer tasks. They have all the essentials, whether you’re trying to do homework, complete the family budget, surf the Web, send email or just play a little. But we throw in a few extra touches to make them more than simply “functional.” The latest AMD processors, high-capacity storage and plenty of memory make them fast and efficient; cool design features, brilliant HD widescreens and powerful, switchable graphics make them fun to look at; and additional Lenovo apps and systems make them easy to connect, use and keep secure.
Stress-free use.
Versatile and durable, the G Series laptops include plenty of features to facilitate a regular, stress-free computing experience. High-speed 802.11 g/n Wi-Fi, with optional integrated Bluetooth®, provides fast connectivity; Lenovo ReadyComm helps you easily manage your networking and internet connection; and Lenovo DirectShare allows you to synchronize your files with another notebook without having to connect to the internet. VeriFace™ face recognition is a fun and secure way to login to your PC. Lenovo Energy Management uses advanced energy-saving technology to stretch your battery life, protecting your battery’s long-term durability and increasing the amount of time you can go unplugged. And you can rest at ease knowing OneKey® Rescue System is there to simplify data backup and recovery, allowing you to focus on using your computer instead of worrying about its maintenance.
Attractive design.
Enjoy the look of the smooth, curvaceous cover with its cool “spoiler” element, then open the one-hand hinge with ease and take a gander inside. Subtle horizontal lines keep the surface looking sharp, clean and professional, while the popular AccuType keyboard is a thing of beauty. It features island-style, easy-to-press keys with finger-friendly design and an ergonomic spacebar for safe, comfortable use — which is good, considering how much time you’re going to want to spend using your new laptop.
