- Bad points:
- Can be slow to respond at times. Some initial teething problems now seem resolved (prob lack of user understanding!)

- Good points:
- Lightweight, neat, easy to carry around. Holds huge number of titles. Stylish appearance. ePub format is universal & versatile, therefore you are not restricted to specific suppliers for ebooks. Especially like the way text can easily be resized in-page. Smooth page turning action. Love ability to convert PDFs to ePub within Calibre, making it easy to add any document of your choice to the Kobo, even a document or book you have written yourself.
- Bad points:
-
On/off slide switch not easy to use & you can never be never quite sure if Kobo is on, in standby mode or powered off (you can never switch it 'off' entirely.) the same sliding action is used for both on and off. Needs redesigning.
Very quirky generally and tends to 'play dead' when updating, so no way of knowing if you need to do a reset or just wait! Probably just that it seems very slow because we've got used to blistering speeds nowadays - once you get used to the quirkiness though, it's fine.
Although it has wifi and can access the web (in theory) it may as well not have this facility, as you could cook a roast dinner before it loads a page. But as I didn't know it could even do this before buying it, I'm not disappointed, as I bought it as a book reader.
Would never try to buy a book via Kobo wifi, it would take forever.
Haven't found a quick way to access a title I want to read in the Kobo.
