- Price, easy to see gauge. Easy to use. We are very pleased with it.

- Very noisy. Not the fastest boiler but acceptable. Lid gets very hot, but hey it's a kettle.

- It would be easier and safer if the lid was hinged to the main body of the jug. Because the lid seperates it is possible that a scald could occur when refilling the jug after boiling.
