Stunning looks - only reason for buying, as I have another perfectly good kettle!

1 Cannot boil small amounts of water, so uneconomical.
2 Bit dangerous if handle not held at side - temptation is to hold near top, in which case danger of scalding with steam.
3 I don't like switches which flick downwards to switch on - have had bad experience with a previous kettle in which the switch loosened and would switch itself on, and did not switch off!
4 The switch is also quite flimsy and because it sticks out could get damaged.
5 My previous kettle has nothing inside - completely smooth; this one has element and plastic piece.

- Just received my new kettle - absolutely love it! Really funky style! It's nicely weighted so it stays put - the noise is a bit loud - but I like that because I can hear when it's stopped boiling if I'm in the other room - no need to reboil because I forgot I had put the kettle on to boil! lol... I shopped around and got this kettle for £10+ cheaper than on eBay! Excellent value for money! The switch works fine - switching off immediately when it's finished boiling - can't complain! Haven't had any problems with pouring the water - I just pick it up and pour - never seem to have my hand in the wrong position that I would get a burn! Just love it! So glad I found it!
