+ soooo easy to use
sits good in the hand, not too heavy and doesn't feel cheap.

- not too good in bad light , tends to go out of focus a little bit then regains it self after half a second or so.
Still picture shooting on this camera is of poor quality but i have a digital camera so i'd never use this bit on this camcorder.
you do need to buy an SD card in order to start using this camcorder but they're not expensive and to be fair it's not often i've seen anything that comes with a free 1 so no hardship there.
other than these minor things its a good little thing for such little money :-)

+ Bought this camcorder because with the SD card, thought it would be more flexible for me to use and I was not wrong. Very easy to set up and use. However, the touch slide down bar that is at the side of the screen is not the easiest to use, and if you have arthritic hands it is not the most easy camcorder on the market. Given that I got used to it, but for the price it is fantastic value for money and I got it working without having to even look at the manual! Lightweight. Super if going on holiday. If you have access to a computer on holiday you can back up all the photos and movies onto disc before you come home! It is light enough to carry everywhere and if you use handbags it is great size for putting into all but the smallest handbag - no excuses for missing THAT clip! Still photo is good quality too - more than good enough for emailing and printing to 7x5 size. Enjoy! Lightest of all camcorders I have bought. Did not want a dvd camcorder because how am I going to make copies? This is QUICK AND EASY to make multiple copies of your recording for family and friends

- Controls on the screen could have been designed a little better but having said that, despite having rheumatoid arthritis in both hands I have got used to it and its light weight including battery means I can carry it everywhere.

+ Looks good, easy to use and playback, lightweight so easy to transport and small enough to fit in your handbag!

- Haven't used it enough to find any bad points, but the battery is ugly and sits on the outside of the camera - JVC could at least tart it up a bit!

+ Very easy to use and off-load video from. Included software robust and straightforward. If you are looking for a low cost, no hassle video solution and are not too hung up on picture quality this camera is well worth a look.
