+ Really simple to use, great quality video, loads of memory! 32x optical zoom is fantastic although tripod is required for the longer zoom lengths. The software that is supplied is in a good format and easy to use.

- Doesn't have the fastest file transfer rate and longer battery life would be better considering the amount of storage space - 30GB. Doesn't have an eye piece so all viewing is done through the LCD which is sometimes difficult to see in bright sunlight.

+ This camcorder is light and easy to handle as can be used at a very basic level, although it has capabilities to do far more than I need for my purposes.

- Am unsure if I should remove the battery when not in use. It seems to go flat over time, just when I decide to use it.
