Score 7.0/10
Good points:
At a quarter of the price of it's Nikon equivalent it is excellent value.
Bad points:
One just needs to aware of its limitations at high magnification. Best results achieved in sunny daylight using manual focus.

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
Compact and neat easy to assemble
Bad points:
Has a very norrow field of focus, and does not auto focus on any of the nikon or tamron lenses I own.I had expected it to be AF as it says on the box,but I haven't found that to be ,very disappointed. It is very hard to focus with.

Laurence, Kent

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Have tried with 18-55mm and 70-300mm lenses.
The 18-55 was not great, but it is a cheap lens with fiddly manual focus.
The results with the 70-300mm are very good, giving me a 140-600mm for a very reasonable price. Test shots show deffinate extra deffinition over cropping/re-sizing.
Image quality is very good, but you need to spend time focusing. As moder DSLR's are all designed for auto-focus this can be difficult to do.
Bad points:
As the auto-focus only continues to function with lenses less than or equal to f4, this effectively means that all your lenses become manual focus (unless you have a very expensive lenses like the Nikor 300mm f2 which costs over £2000).

Richard, Welwyn Garden City

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Light weight and easy to use. Is compatible with all the nikon lenses I have and the auto focus is pretty good too. A great way to double the lens capacity you hve at a fraction of the cost.
Bad points:
None so far.

Michael, Cambridge 3 year DLSR user

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Affordable
Retains autofocus in good light
Auto Metering is retained
Lightweight but solid contruction
Extends wildlife opportunties
Bad points:
soft feel to some results, OK for small print but not large format.
Front cap cover has no location marks so you "feel" your way to attach it. Front cover is not as postive as it could be so may come off.
