Good points:: The tank to empty the water is at the top of the dryer which makes it easier to reach and empty
Bad points:: The filter is open (our previous model had a hinged opening) so not all of the fluff is caught by the filter

Good points:: No more damp room! We needed to buy a condenser dryer and this was the best value for money we could find. We are pleased with the quick drying time and it's so easy to use.

Good points:: Nice tidy machine, dont have to put a hose out the window like did with my old model, no condensation all over the house either.
Bad points:: Takes a lot longer than my old model and a lot noisier.

Good points:: For what we wanted it is very good especially with the drain being located at the top so very easy to empty. Controls are simple, not sure about machines that have 000's of different options, its a dryer, it dries.
Bad points:: It's not the quietest machine around and drying times are longer than a standard dryer but that's the generally true for most condensor dryers. For the price you'd be hard pushed to find something similar.

Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
