+ the fact that it is wireless is fantastic it is so easy to set up and work.

+ Excellent quality print & photo's. Very impressed so far. It's a very neat & compact product & very good value for money. I haven't scanned anything yet, so can't give my opinion on that function.
Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase & would certainly recommend it.

- Power box, or whatever it is - Is a big ugly thing & hangs in mid air half way down my wall.
Printer is a little bit noisy when in use.

+ Easy to setup and good print quality particularly the borderless photo print as part of setup.

- BE CLEAR ABOUT THE WIRELESS CAPABILITY - it's ONLY able to connect wirelessly to a router, so if (as we thought) you simply want to connect to a laptop without a wireless router being around, then you need to use the cable despite its wireless ability. Unless I've missed something that isn't mentioned in the user guide.
Build quality feels a bit iffy - will see if it lasts as the printer for our son as he starts University Oct 2009...!

+ Compact and efficient. Primary intended function is to scan documents and photos. LCD is a good feature Ink level indicators very good feature.

+ quite easy to understand although am not very computer literate and have not fully figured out the editting options yet. Set up was easy usine wireless conections, although have not figured how to set up my wifes notepad yet, not being able to use the CD in it.

+ Fairly cheap for a wireless printer. Quite good quality.

- Took hours to setup on the wireless printing, and then crashes when trying to print so needs turning off and on and then cancel all print job and start again. Paper gets jammed 8 out of 10 times. Very bad wireless, ok with USB but still has paper jam. Useless printer for any purpose.

+ Only had the printer a very short time but so far it's excellent. Far neater than my old printer ,i like the front loading system for the paper, the small screen for selecting images from sd cards , so easy to use.

- The only one slight problem i got confused with was wireless connection to the computer, thinking it was connected when it wasn't but i seem to have that sorted now.

+ Excellent value for money for wireless printer, so convenient with a laptop. Efficient and good looking printer. Like the fact you can choose economical fast printing to save on ink, quicker too. Ink cartridges that came with it have lasted longer than expected, so can't comment on price of these, in my experience they are all more expensive than you'd like, whatever the make! Overall very plesed indeed with printer, wireless connection works like magic. Guidance screen on printer VERY helpful, almost felt like printer is talking to you during setup and printing. Set-up instructions good, guided through it, easier than expected. Print quality good. Would DEFINITELY reccomend this printer as an excellent buy.

+ I have been looking for a while and this was best value for money. Quick and easy setup straight out of the box just minimum IT knowledge required. Excellent print quality very reasonable speed, looks good on a shelf out of the way, no wires trailing.

+ Print quality is good and fast. Very pleased with wireless facility as I can now print from both my pc's without messing about with cables. Scanner has good resolution and scans my old photographs easily using HP's software.

- Ocassionally the printer appears to be offline and won't print. This seems to be resolved by turning it off and back on again.

- Nightmare to network wirelessly. Took hours of work and I have had to resort to just using the usb cable to print. Not compatible with a Sky router. Had no problems with other HP printers and sky router.

- The wireless connection is volatile, it rarely connects. The software requires uninstalling and reinstalling in order to use the wireless feature.

+ Installation was fairly quick. The printer looks good and its nice to have something other than noir for a change. Clear and fast printing. Haven't used copy or scan yet. The screen is clear and easy to read.

- The printer sometimes feeds through several pages to print which come out blank. We found that the wireless isn't compatible with our laptop. This was disappointing as we chose the printer so that we could print wirelessly.

+ Excellent print quality and very fast - even the draft print option was better than best quality on other printers.

- It took a long time to install mainly because the manual and the screen instructions were ambiguous and not very well written - a few screen views in the written instructions would have helped and instructions like "now go to page 6" when that's where I was need to be reviewed. Also, to print the alignment page, it would have been helpful to know that the paper was already in the printer- I spent time trying to get it to accept paper when it didn't want to!

+ Got a good deal with Tesco direct...Easy to set up (with wires). Excellent photo quality.... The catridge in the box was a nice touch, haven't run out yet. Pick the fast + ecomomical printing option for drafts/un important documents and the print speed is amazing, literally flies out of the printer. Very easy to use. Very happy with my purchase....The reviews sold it for me so bought it over the kodak and don't regret it.

- Uh, trying to connect wirelessly with an adhoc local network (ie without a modem). Given up for now. Not sure about the HP photosmart software, may be just be but I haven't find a quick way of transferring my scanned photos into my personal folders.
