+ Ecellent quality print and good value for money.

+ The printer itself is a good size, doesn't take up too much desk space. It's relatively quiet and fast even in standard print mode. The print quality is extremely good, I've printed photographs and they're acceptable quality for us. The copy and scan functions are also very fast and good quality. It's a very easy to use, good quality all round printer/copier/scanner - perfect for home office use.

- Instructions say it doesn't take paper heavier than 236 gsm - my 240 gsm jammed it, but I don't see 4 gsm should make a difference.

- Chaotic shables of software and organisation from H-P.
Complaint to the very top is the only way to get things done with H-P, someone delegated my problems to a H-Pstaffer that actually knew the F2280 inside out, also fixed my problem very quickly indeed, but that still took ten to fortnight, nearly took it back to Tesco's and asked for a Cannon all-in-one instead?? please note
soft and organisational problems drive people away, H-P are cutting back on things, it used to be an all in one box with everything inside, follow instructions and hey presto printer and everything works, now you haveto get printer cablew from elsewhere,, TESCO PURCHASING DEPT please note

+ Fantastic print quality - fast - doesn't seem to use too much ink - great value for money. Simple and quick to connect to computer - up and running in minutes- brilliant.

+ I don't print great quantities of data and this printer does what I need without problems.

- I had great dfficultey installing the printer on my packard bell computor (windows vista). After I had tried repeatly but got nowhere my son spent forty minutes scouring questions and answers on various sites he found some-one who had had the same problem and advised us to 'delete upper limits' or somesuch. I still don't understand what he actually did.

+ Cheap however very good value for money as the printing scanning and copying quality is good enough for any professional (obviously not graphic design) or domestic use.

- Could not see any bad point yet since it does what it is written on the box and it costs half of the price compared to other printers of the same quality.

+ Very easy to set up. Copier gives super quality every time.
Feed and return print at the front has resulted in very neat compact unit.
Ink cartridges are relatively cheap.
Scanning gives excellent results. Editing photographs also gives good results.

Should have had a USB connector supplied.
