+ I purchased this printer so that I was able to print odd pages from emails etc. The print quality is good and it is a quite small so very easily stored. For the price, it is excellent value for money and I think it would be difficult to get anything better for the price.

+ Very easy to set up, runs like a good un, prints well and on fast economic really fast.

- Feels very lightweight, shakes about a bit when printing and won't print spreadsheets when on fast/economic

+ Nice and small and good value for money. Prints quite quickly and it's of a good quality

- Has jammed a few times for no apparent reason and the ink went down to half way after only printing a few pages

+ Not the world's most advanced printer, but the price.... well, you can't lose, can you? Actually am amazed at the quality that it can give for the money - even plain paper photo prints are good!

- Doesn't like being turned off! Always turns on as soon as the mains power is switched on, not waiting for the power button on front to be pressed.

+ Excellent value for the price paid, small & compact, ideal for using with the laptop as it is easily connected/disconnected

A set of cartridges are allmost as expensive as the printer.
Overall very disappointed.

+ Could not be easier to install. Takes up very little space and produces very good print quality - colours in particular very clear and sharp. Very good value.

- Occasionally churns out blank piece of paper before starting to print, but I do not find this a problem.

+ Small and neat, very easy to set up, even for a non techno brain like me. Easy to attach to my laptop and very good value for money. Ink cartridges not too bad to buy if you shop around.

- The only complaint I have, is not having found a way to print on draft to save on ink for the printing I do and the lack of a button to stop a printing error on the machine.(I do have one on my HP in the office). It does bring up a note on screen but by the time you click on it and it responds, you have finished printing anyway.

- too many messages from HP come up on the computer - if the printer is unplugged, if the lid is open...etc - this can be annoying. It also takes a while to set itself up when you first plug it in and sent a doc to print - the actual printing time is quick, but the 'warm up' time is slow.

- It clatters about noisily every time I switch on my computer, I don't always need to use the printer. To avoid this clatter I have to disconnect the printer from the mains, the switch on the left hand side of the printer does not disconnect the power supply.
It appears to interfere with the firewall.
