- Good points:
- It washing and dries the clothes really well. It has plenty of options and because of the the huge drum, the clothes are not compressed too tightly.
- Bad points:
- Slightly noisy and when the dryer is on it makes a squeaking noise.

So quiet compared to last machine. Nice big drum for large loads.
Good instruction booklet which you need to cope with all the programmes - only use about 4 different settings now that I'm used to it. - Bad points:
- Cycle times long so have to use timesaver button on all washes.

The drum is a great size meaning less washes :)
I also like the variety of programme washes to choose from - Bad points:
- I'm a bit disappointed with the dryer !! after my washing has been tumbled dried it seems to have lost it's fresh laundry smell!!! If I only. Use the washing machine my clothes smell amazing but if I use the tumble dryer then the fresh smell has disappeared not at all amused contemplating calling hotpoint about it!! I have had to buy tumble dryer sheets to see if that helps with the smell

Large porthole door makes loading & unloading easy.
Washing comes is done quickly & efficiently on the ready to wear cycle.
Good quality build as usual from Hotpoint. - Bad points:

Even following the instruction book carefully it is difficult to find how to wash & dry in one cycle. I find I have to wash then reprogram to dry.
The drying cycles either leave my clothes damp or so dry they are very creased & need lots of ironing. Disappointing.
If I had the space I'd go back to having separate machines!
